This movie scene is realistic as the "best battle scene ever" made in Hacksaw Ridge. Really. And people compared that with Saving Private Ryan (Omaha Beach) just becouse of the violence...

Seriously though it's a bit of a satire, the background, squad walk off, foreground last guy looking back into the distance with a questioning yet knowing look...he pulls it off. He seems really comfortable handling with that Remington 12 gauge too...
