FILM DESCRIPTION:
Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller), pampered action superstar, sets out for Southeast Asia to take part in the biggest, most-expensive war movie produced, but soon after filming begins, he and his co-stars, Oscar-winner Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), comic Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black) and the rest of the crew, must become real soldiers when fighting breaks out in that part of the jungle.

When Matthew McConaughey comes in with the TiVo I started crying. This man willingly came all the way to wear his friend was being held hostage, knowing full well that there is a likeness he could have been killed too, just to hand deliver him the TiVo that was promised in his contract. That is one of the most definitive representations of both best friendship someone you can always count on to ever grace any screen, it's the grown up version of any 80s or 90s friendship film

The dvd commentary of this film is just as funny as the film itself. RDJ does it completely in character as Linc and it is insane.

genuinely confused about the 1 star imdb ratings. They said the acting was terrible and so were the jokes. If you didn't even scoff a single time while watching this movie then the problem is you
People didn't understand what it was trying to accomplish and rated it based on that. The critics rely on giving glaring or negative reviews to earn their salaries, based on whatever studio is paying them to write them. This was an indictment of that practice, which is why it was so negatively reviewed.
