I took a beginner watercolour class last year but I never learnt all the steps in this process. I think because we didn’t have time to wait for each layer to dry before moving onto the next one. I found this to be so helpful in knowing how to be more intentional with the actual painting stage. Watercolour feels less overwhelming for me now 😅 Thank you for an informative video, esp. with starting out with the wet on wet and base layer .
Ok so my style is realism and im very good at using colored pencils, charcoal and graphite, but i’ve ALWAYS wanted to learn how to use watercolor and this vid helped me AF TYSM❤️

I've been too focused on not allowing lines to show through and then I get confused haha but I recently started lining some of my watercolors so maybe I should try and just do it like you do...draw it with thicker lines and shading...hmmm
