Yes, please do a video on your art wall! I love to see how people set up their creative spaces.
Also, this painting is breath-taking. The yellows, blues and the emotion reminds me of the Inside Out movies. Pure, joyful and playful. Love it so much

Combined with your words and thoughts on creativity, and letting your heart guide you..... THANK YOU. thank you. THANK YOU. This piece..... your artwork..... I've never cried so much while watching art being made as when watching your videos. THANK YOU, again, thank you.
Edit: Jess, your words, your soul, your UTTER talent is boundless. I've never felt so inspired as when watching you make art. Truly.

Creating, for me, is an escape. I lost my passion after high school, and being told I would never amount to anything. With some prodding from my friends, and finding this awesome community, I felt safe enough o start drawing again. Now, with my bouts of anxiety and self-loathing, creating art - be it on paper or painting a miniature - has become my safe place; where I can block out the world and just become lost in the process.
Thank you, Jess, and everyone who continues to inspire and be there for others when we need them.
    💜💚💜

@@bluewren65 AI can imitate the texture of a variety of traditional materials. What it can't do right now, if I'm not mistaken, is make progress pictures of a certain artwork, as it's not able to replicate the same exact image over and over while making specific changes.

    • @bluewren65
      @bluewren65 Месяц назад

@@georgek5737 Yes, but can it pick up an actual paint brush and spread paint on a canvas? And of course, the answer is, no it can't. It can't because what is called AI is not artificial intelligence at all, it is machine learning, that is an algorithm that is trained on large data sets to mimic said data. That's why if you put in a prompt and repeatedly tell it that what it comes up with is not right it will eventually just churn out nonsense.Process screen shots might allow someone to prove that their digital work is not AI, but with a painting there is a physical object that can verify the hand made item.

First, Jess, this is absolutely stunning. I cannot express how much this work and video resonates with me. Second, I wasn't really "in" to art as I grew up. When I was in my 30s I found places that were Sip and Paints and other painting acrylic, oil, and watercolor at my local rec centers and community centers and was just having fun. But in my late 30s I was in a terrible car accident that left me with my life but took away my career, my movement, and my social being. One day many years later I found some watercolor painters and you, Jess, on RUclips and was so inspired. Since then I have been experimenting with all kinds of mediums, learning, and creating.

Gorgeous as usual Jess! I love watching you paint. You have so much emotion in your paintings and I strive to capture that in my own. I started painting because for years I was made to feel I couldn't. I was constantly put down or made to feel foolish for even trying. Once I was able to get that negativity out of my life, I started painting and really found what heals my soul. I'm hoping to have much more content while I recover from surgery this month. It's a perfect chance for me to focus on my own mental health and maybe stop pushing it off to the side. Hope to see lots more of you during this month as well.

I create because I love the feeling of accomplishment, that baffling thought of "Oh wow, I made that and it looks beautiful!" that gives me such a wonderful sense of growth and worth.
I am not good at many other things, I can't work because of my disabilities and my children are both adults now so they don't need me the same way they used to. To be able to make drawings and paintings makes me feel like I can still make some kind of difference and have value. Learning and developing gives me tremendous joy, figuring it out and creating something I could not manage a year ago makes me feel that life isn't over, there's still much left for me to do and it's a way for me too to feel proud of myself and my achievements that is really lacking in the rest of my life!

Always a pleasure to watch you work! Thanks for sharing your process.
Why do I create? I don't normally ask myself questions like that. I taught myself how to paint when I was 12. As of this year, I've been painting for 51 years. Oils, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, printmaking, photography, film-making, and all kinds of combinations of these. I do these things because I take pleasure in the doing. I love to wake up in the morning after a night of painting. I walk into my workspace in my bathrobe like a kid on christmas morning excited about what I might find under the tree. Even on mornings when the result is less than I wanted, it's still exciting to see what happened the day before. Sometimes the work is finished, sometimes it needs another session. And even if the result is not so great, I still feel proud that I did the work and I look forward to the next painting. I suppose you could call that an answer!🙂

Thank you again for putting this beauty out into the world! I create because I need to, it makes me feel better. Thank you again for another wonderful video and I look forward to more.
I used to provide portraits for clients, I had a client refuse her portrait when I completed it only in watercolor. She was expecting an oil because as she said “portraits are always done in oil if a painting is not done in oil it’s not a real portrait!” I explain to her and oil portrait would cost hundreds of dollars or more no one would paint a portrait in oils for $50! I told her I would store her portrait for one year if she decided she wanted she could come get it and pay the price agreed if not I would shred it. I did shred it one year and one day later. I want saw my ceramics teacher outside his studio crushing his latest round of pots with a sledgehammer! I he said “you never know how long your art will last and things have a way of sticking around and they might be the only things left of what you do. So be sure the things you leave behind are worthy of your talent.” I truly did not want that inconsiderate person to survive into an unknown future as an example of my art. This is just things a person thinks about as time marches on.

I really love this video and your painting so much! Every word you've said, the melody and the pure joy at the end when you looked at your finished piece- everything was so perfect. I really felt that and I cried so much when you spoke about why you create art. Thank you so much for taking us all on that joyful and emotional journy Jess! I hope you have a good day~

It's absolutely gorgeous, Jess! I haven't done oil painting for a while, but I'm going to do it again.
Also, please do a video of the new studio build. It looks very nice!

Art is my way of conversing my truest thoughts and feelings when I don't know how to put into to words - and I'm not very good with talking with others. Being someone who has been struggling with mental health and trying to slowly heal, art is my therapy. And as always I am in awe of your work. :))

You have just inspired me to give it a go... again. I've been a bit overwhelmed these last few months with home repairs, a new website, etc. But... now it is time to get those 'bad boys' out again 😊

Wow, just wow. That painting is gorgeous. I've often wondered how I could use florescent colors in a way that would be aesthetically pleasing. Well, you did it and you hit it out of the park. I wish I knew how to learn how to do this. Thanks for sharing.
