Thomas, Thanks for watching and commenting on the video. I do not have any experience yet with Beyond ATC but I can say that SI is getting better all the time and there are a lot of exciting things coming in the future.
Hi! Love the video! Feels like a real world flight. Uncle Harley is great and I'm looking forward to you asking him more questions in the next video. And that ground scenery with Orbx is looking AWESOME!
Great Video Dan! First one I've watched with the combo of X-Plane 12 and Say Intentions! Looks like you had a nice flight. Say hi to Skidrock for me!!!
Hey yourself! It is great to see SayIntentions and Xplane working together so we can use some of the great addon aircraft with it like this Airfoillabs C172.
I recommend just going to smaller airports. Controllers there are always happy to get some traffic in and especially S1 controllers are still learning just as much as you wont bother anyone if you e.g. take a wrong taxiway or if the controller has to repeat things multiple times for you. You can always give partial clearance as well and then ask for the rest or ask for people to talk a bit slower/clearer to you. I started being confident in no time from taking like 10-15 minutes to press the button despite me being ready already long time ago xD What I did in the beginning was just launch towards uncontrolled airspace / airports, so I could get some experience with clearance+taxi. I can recommend "Little Navmaps", its free and a real gamechanger. Sometimes the map data isnt 100% accuracte, e.g. when I landed in Bremen they renamed some parking spots to be gates and i got confused. That being said you can always request progressive taxis from controllers as well, again, especially if not so much traffic is going around, most controllers are very happy to have someone to interact with, instead of having like 1 departure an hour. Later you can start landing in airports (practice some ils landings beforehand and know your aircraft well so you wont have any problems) and once you got that down you can start flying to/from airports where the airspace is controlled as well or a lot of traffic is happening. There are some example dialogues covering nearly everything that could happen to you online as well. I always them open on a 2nd monitor and it helped me a lot. Hope to see you in vatsim soon ;)
This is not my product I am just a user passing the good work of a great company @sayintentions is working on it but traffic injection is not available yet.
Nice video Dan. You didn't mention how you filed the flight plan. Do you HAVE to use Simbrief? I really don't need 37 pages of flight plan for GA. I'd much rather use the built-in Navigraph flight planner since I pay for it and I have it right there anyway.
Mark, Thanks for watching. I do use Sim Brief. I am not sure if you do it in the built in flight planner if SI can pull it from there? You can put a simple flight plan into Sim Brief and generate the report and then just not use any of the added stuff from the OFP. I will do some testing and see what I can come up with.
I reached out to a friend that knows more than I do, and this is what he told me. "For now you have to file the plan in Sim Brief. You can then import it into Navigraph if you want to use it there. Building the plan in Navigraph will not push it back to Sim Brief and therefore there will be no proper IFR plan for SI to work with."
@@WingsandWrecks Thanks for the thoughtful reply Dan. That's what I thought. Too bad. I really like the Navigraph built-in app and I enjoy using it to build a flight plan and import it into Pilot2ATC as well as the G1000. Pilot2ATC can import from any of LittleNavMap, SkyVector, Navigraph, etc. I guess because it's been around so long, it makes sense that it would be so mature that way.
yes, I agree that it takes some repeated practice to get smooth with a 172 in the sim. if I change planes and come back to it I seem to have to kind of relearn it.
That's not any ordinary overcast, it's "solid overcast" Interesting. Did Harley say your Skyhawk has a fuel capacity of 152 gallons? You got auxiliary tanks onboard? Besides that, I think this AI ATC is vastly better than any currently offered ,, (besides real people on Vatsim)
Sounds like Sayintentions is a lot more reliable than Beyond ATC. Thanks for the video. :)

Hey skidroq sep2345 says hi
Clear 26R.. That paintings on runway does seem more like 26L. I think SI should ask you to copy some phone number 😅
They do if you violate certain things. Thanks for the comment.
This looks incredible. I'm confident enough for vatsim yet so maybe this can help me
It's a good way to build your skills

San Diego John Wayne??? You might want to check that. San Diego is Lindbergh Field.
Yes I for some reason was confused. Thanks for watching.
@@WingsandWrecks LOL...John Wayne's Bronze Statue was weeping after that LOL!
Hello I am interested and thinking of purchasing your product I have only question do you have traffic injected into the sim by the program???

I'm sure in time things will be updated
San Diego John Wayne. Ok then.
I had a mental lapse between my mouth and my brain. thanks for watching
How do you find the landings on the airfoil labs plane?
Do you mean charts? I use navigraph. I don't think you can pull them up on the pfd. I will look into that. Thanks for the comments
No sorry I meant I always thought the landings in the 172 NG were a little heavy and rough and just curious your thoughts

Can do with out tour guide. Hope they work put bugs.
@sayintentions.ai They are always making improvements. some have even been made in the few days since this video was posted. stay tuned for more

Yes for some reasons he is getting the fuel confused with metric
😄😄😄🤩
Thanks for watching
@@WingsandWrecks sIR, DOES IT HAVE ai TRAFFIC OF ITS OWN?
Not at this time but it is in the works according to @Sayintentions
