You need to put bars, and roll down grates, on the windows and doors. Guard dogs, alarm system, armed guards, ....
Kyle, you need to be really careful with having a show at the Venue.
You can’t have a bunch of people in that Building with all your gear in there. There are some very dishonest people and Drug users that will steal anything they can get. I just don’t want to see you get robbed. All that expensive gear is in there. You have some really nice stuff please be safe with it!
Keep on Rocking 😎🎸🎸
Congratulations on your new venture
I appreciate the concern, but it's crazy to me that so many people think I haven't thought about this and don't have ways to protect myself and investments. Life is a risk. We risk it every day. I'd rather risk it for the greater good than protect all of my stuff for myself and never use it for it's intended purpose just to die one day having never contributed to the world.
@@belligerentamateur love the idea of it, and hope it works out man. I too would be a bit concerned even about accidental damage if that place gets packed. I take it from your statement that you are financially covered, but you know as well as anyone... tube amps are a fickle beast.
Just my opinion, but I like that area with the Marshall wall for future live shows. That is, with the extra equipment stored somewhere else, lol. Seems like a layout I've seen in small clubs, where the bar would be the lower section.
👊👊👊👊@@belligerentamateur
@@belligerentamateur Kyle , I’m a fan and I love your videos. I just have issues trusting people.
I would love to attend the first show but I’m in Florida and I can’t get there. But I wish you all the best and hope it goes well. 😎🎸👍
In case you haven’t already thought of this specifically.
Maybe some air tags on high dollar easy to move things. There are some other options on Amazon too. Some stuff that doesn’t even need WiFi. Not everything, but on items that would be most likely targets.
And cameras with IR. Also find out if any of your neighbors have cameras.
Also add dummy cameras in addition to the legit ones.
Keep them MFs on their toes.
I work for a security tech company so my brain is screaming to get your stuff protected.
And be careful who you tell ANY security & surveillance specifics to. Keep note of ANYONE that even brings it up “oh man I bet you got like 10 cameras at least! And some type of hard drive to store like DAYS of video right bro?!”
Sadly, if you get robbed, it will more than likely be someone you personally know and thought was a friend.
Inside jobs are the most common in these situations.
My mind is screaming “dehumidifier” for that basement!!!
Yes dude!
my man
Ray gonna come rock too 😀
For a place called Belligerent Studios, thats an adorable building.
Kyle... Congrats on the new place dude. Good luck with your new venture. You have an obscene amount of gear. You are my hero. I did cringe when you showed the basement with all that gear down there. That basement is damp. The peeling paint, the condition of the floor and I thought I saw water around the furnace/ hot water heater area. This a recipe for getting mold on all your stuff. 3 recommendations..... Get your gear off the floor. Get some used pallets and put your gear on that. Get a dehumidifier and run it constantly. Get a pedestal or box fan and run it constantly. Humid stagnant air will cause mold to grow. You don't want that, you have too much cool gear. Again congrats, love your channel.
Totally! The life of a trust funded consumer is what all people should aspire too! My airline mechanic neighbor only owns 1 truck, and 3 amps, and is paying off one property. If he only was born into money, he could own a hundreds of thousands of dollars of amps, bikes, and homes...at his daughter's age! Shame on him for his hard work, when his parents "could" have bought him paid bots, to pretend a 40K channel pays for his lifestyle of the rich and trust-funded...with the riffs my teenage daughter would be embarrassed to post online! Life in the fantasy, "I paid for this with a 40K youtube channel" is quite convincing...to delusional people & paid bots. But hey, you're a subber to Paul Joesph Watson, the Alex Jones tool, so reality ain't quite your thing. Rock on, bot!
@@kennethc2466 🤣
Really hope you have good security for that place 😮
I'm actually encouraging people to steal stuff
😂
Dude so happy for you! Hard work isn't around anymore. You sir deserve good things. Sort it all out and good luck!
Dude this is amazing! I’ve been throwing a few shows in Stockton, CA! The hardcore scene here is strong! Can’t wait to see your live shows, I think they will be huge!!
That is absolutely FANTASTIC Sir !
It doesn't matter whether it's small or big, such venues are really necessary.
People need to be able to gather again and have fun listening and watching live music ... and it also doesn't matter what genre of music for as long as it's played with heart and soul, and it's fun or sometimes just stunning amazing.
Music is THE absolute über art form, when it's performed at it's best. Music is like an arrow, bypassing all the mental filters anybody builds over time, and hits people right in the heart.
4 thumbs up!👍👍👍👍
Bro!!! RUclips live hardcore shows could be on the horizon??? I see tones of potential right here!!! Kyle is this something that could potentially happen?! Or am I just dreaming?
This Looks awesome! Sweetwater is flipping amazing!
What a kickass place you got there!!! Its wild to see you go from the basement to this- you're an inspiration for real- best of luck and hope you have a ton of fun at your first show!
I suggest a good router for the mixer with its own wifi network. When you have a ton of cellphones in the room you will lose connection with the mixer's built-in wifi! If it's wired via USB then you shouldn't have an issue. It's just if you're live mixing with iPads.
So proud of you bub. This is a awesome journey your going on. Hope it gets better and grows
Get packing blankets. They are cheap, don't look bad at all hung up, and they are just as effective as acoustic tiles. Trust me on this.
Mad props to you, KB. In a world where geeks are trying to expand this miserable AI shit, there are a few like you who aren't caving in. Keep fighting the good fight, dude!
Says a bot, who triumphs a trust funded kid, who pretends a 40K RUclips account pays the bills...that his mommy does.
I have huge piles packing quilts for diffusing harshness, hundreds and hundreds of dollars invested, but those are ultimately too unhygienic and too much work in a public area. Total fire code violation too, imagine stumbling over a pile of smoldering quilts in the darkness.
@@kennethc2466 bro, what a fucking troll 😂😂
Goeth backeth whence cometh, you shouldn't be seeing the light of day anyway 😂😂
@@kennethc2466 Perhaps if you pulled your head out of your pudding port, got out of your mommy's basement, and just generally didn't suck at life so much - you could do better?
@@hoboroadie4623 Never thought about a fire code situation, but then again - I don't sit around waiting for a fire to happen. Life's too short.
badass man! it's gotta feel awesome to be able to do this stuff!
With sound system and backline, you have a ready made space for bands who want to track live off the floor when recording as well.
The good news is, you won't notice anything missing until you go looking for it
Tons of bands would be stoked about this place, even outside of heavy music/ hardcore /punk rock.
Much success with all of your endeavors!
Kyle I'm so happy for you dude. As a fellow belligerent, always loved your crushing tones and your great ear to dial them in. I always demo new heads with the same cab setup you use in your videos! Have fun man!😊
AWSOME man!! That's a great idea for some moving blankets, you really can use em for everything! Cool, here's too your dreams! Cheers Kyle!! 🤘🤘
This is amazing. I hope it works out. The venue looks great!
Good luck tomorrow! So stoked for ya!!! I've never played Eerie, might have to change that!
Super cool! I hope the first show goes well!
Kyle this is great I hope I can get there at some point, good luck tomorrow, and keep that gear safe.
Can’t wait to see the venue in action
Those floors will never ever get vacuumed.
Great job , way to put back into your community 🎉
Insane man! Well done!
Love this. Big things big growth. Love to see it
Excited for you dude!
This is really cool Kyle. Looking forward to the vids and recordings.
I like how the Valvestate is the only head light enough to put on a glass shelf... Looks killer, KB... Thinking about driving down from the Syracuse area...
I wish you the Best, it's going to be awesome ! 🤘🎸
kyle , your an awesome dude and i love what your doing ! keep i t up ! love your videos
Proud of you, my metal brother. Follow your dream.
Congrats brother!!! Just remember to sound treat every room. Thats where the money should go to
Damn son! That's a lot of gear and one hell of a studio. It looks like you could sell a lot of this stuff to help fund your studio and give them a home to people who will use them. We need more local DIY studios like this. BTW you should set up the live room to look good for video recording the bands as well. It's super cool to see bands playing in studios and all that. I follow a Russian music RUclips channel called "Цех" (it means shop/warehouse), where they record and show bands playing live in a warehouse like setting which is pretty cool. They're all different Indy rock bands playing there. Good luck with your new studio!
I think I seen some of your listings on marketplace. Congratulations and having such a diverse collection.
Kyle, Congratulations on the new adventure. Exciting times. Eric
It's all good. The amp demos can wait. Get this endeavor up and ripping.
Hey Kyle, best of luck with the new venture. A venue/recording studio/filming studio is ambitious.
My top recommendation is to have good security system, now that your location full of high value stuff will be more publicly known as a venue.
Love this!!!!!!
That DL16S looks a lot like the Behringer XR18 digital mixer. I suggest running an external dual band router instead of using the internal wireless feature. Discovered the hard way that the 2.4GHZ is overcrowded and with cell phones pinging nearby networks it can cut connection to your iPad/tablet. I grabbed a cheap TP-Link dual band router, hooked up via 5GHZ and turned off the 2.4GHZ, not an issue since. The only time I'd say leave 2.4GHZ on is if you are going to be really far away from the mixer!
Cheers bud!!
Best of luck, brother!!!
would love to see the full show uploaded somewhere on youtube. maybe the second channel? super excited to see how that pa setup sounds!
Good luck dude!
Best wishes for your continued success.
Looks awesome, your collection of gear is truly staggering! Please make sure you have the appropriate security and staggering insurance to go with it, love your passion !
All the excellent high gain heads everywhere and then the small practice Peavy tucked away at 14:44 atop the peak of a cabinet stack. Best amp in the building
Sweet location. Especially for travelers who might come from Canada, New York and Ohio. Plus, you are in an active area. Nice building layout too. Just another thought, while you are probably focusing on audio, bands and individuals could utilize the local urban area to incorporate into videos.
Good job bro. The whole reason we had a scene in OKC in the 80s was because of my singer, he brought all the punk bands and a lot of legendary acts like Bo Diddley and Wanda Jackson to town.
That’s rad dude. I reckon it would be awesome to on have a little stage, even in that small room (I can picture it haha). Congrats from Gold Coast Australia 🤘
Dude please please please be careful who you let see that gear and who has access to it as some who has had tons of gear stolen from me I'm telling you make sure you have security cams reinforced bars on doors and windows an alarm system the works and again watch who you let near all that gear. I have no tube amps cabs and barely any guitars or pedals because of multiple dishonest so called friends and such people who I thought I could trust steal from me. Having my house broken into was when I lost most of my gear. Now that I am medically retired veteran I will most likely never be able to afford to replace my gear and It would 100 percent break my heart to see that happen to you. You have worked so hard to turn things around and get to where you are now. Someone as cool and as giving as you doesn't deserve to have that happen to you. Keep up the awesome content and being an awesome dude good luck in all your endeavors. \../,
Start a POP UP Music Store there to sell off your extra stuff.
Looks great, put something up close to your check in for bands that play there to slap their stickers on, would be a way for bands to support and get seen plus shows that you have some cliental once your rolling!
Great idea
Good luck, Kyle
If I were you I’d put doors with locks between the live room and the event room, otherwise you’ll need to have your head on a swivel, so shit doesn’t walk.
Oh, F*CK YEA. Congrats brother.
Wow! just wow! I don't feel so bad about some of the extra gear I have accumulated over the years, that just sits idle. I hope the best for you in this next adventure, and how cool is Sweetwater for helping, instant fan, and will be making future purchases with them. Finally I hope your in a good neighborhood, and have great security.
You stole my Profile PIC! LOL
@@USAJ31 opps! I didn't think I would get caught, sorry. "Merica"
Keep on Truckin brutha. Great job.
Damn you got that put together fast! Love it, but I’d be so terrified to play there, thinking you’d hate my tone and toss me the hell out haha
A great insurance policy and a good alarm system with a gate looks needed.
I admire the courage and faith. Hope you have good insurance!
I hope you give that lucky next gen playing there some great memories 🤘
Good luck!
This is an inspiring endeavor
Sweetwater is the best no denying that 😮
Wish you success!
Best of luck with the new spot. Looking forward to the live stream shows….wink 😉
that little cubby coming from the live room into where you are mixing could serve as a vocal booth.. it looked just big enough to put a stool an a mic after putting a door up.
Congrats on the place , truly happy seeing people moving forward with good change. That said man I see dope ass studio here , but venue with all that gear around 😅😅😅 ?? I just don’t see the floor space for people without them interacting with your gear .. always wish the best looking forward to future vids . 🤘🏼
This is so sick!
Dude, this is what everyone in the 90s Reading Scene WISHED Alex's BASSMINT WAS like!!! I have had a gear lounge and testing/lesson /venue idea for a few years but never the funds, and lost the building, to do it. I want Saturday and Sunday Matinees to make a comeback! Start a gig at 2 and people will stay for the last band, Every gig after the 90s had venue headliners with less people than the second band's draw. make spaghetti and they won't leave! haha CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING AMERICA HARDCORE AGAIN! 😅
Congratulations.
Respect!
Please Kyle install a camera system so you can monitor everything for liability reasons as well as potential theft reasons. Please tell me you have renters insurance and a list of everything you own with serial numbers!
Oh this makes much more sense now. haha
New life goal, tour through your neck of the woods, play your venue and buy a rig from your colossal inventory.
Literally just watching this video, a dude wit ha youtube channel who now has hs own venue/space (Remarkable achievement may I add). And half way through the video, my bands drummer phones me excited as fuck about the demo for the new song we're working on. And we literally just started talking about something we've wanted to do for a long time which is host a yearly event/festival for unsigned bands.
Funny how these things work out 🤣🤣🤣
One thing that often gets overlooked is Pennsylvania's capacity laws.
I know people who have had issues with the Fire Marshall due to the number of proper exit/egress and number of patrons. It set back the opening for 18 months.
Always cool to see a new venue open though.
Thanks again for the tour
This is the closest thing I ever seen to going to Sweetwater (I plan to do that again)
I’m sure this is way bigger that your old place but you’re still jammed with equipment for sure. Not much info on the show later
The Hootenanny starts today also
I'm jealous. If you can do it, do it, if you can't ,try to do it. Nice job, me like it 🤘🤘🤘
Wish I could make it man, I set up Jason’s guitars for him, definitely wanted to catch u guys, but we are playing the hootenany fest. So hope it goes well.
you should nickname the venue 'my real job' :P
Gonna need window treatments gonna break glass with all the killer equipment great job so far so good 😊
I hope your neighbors there understand how much this place is going to rock.. lol .. !! awesome space.. not too far from home.. should really motivate the local scene.. awesome man..give us a new list of gear you want gone.. we will help you out man.. give it a good home..
I’m sure you’re loving the extra space you got at home
"I say we when I am talking about the stacks of amps and speakers all around, it is a mental thing, as my girlfriend is also negotiating the same hallways..."
Gotta get stuff out of the bedroom, and some back up in the other room.
Science! Yeah I am old enough to remember before you had modern PA stuff like the Mackie rig there, big folded horns and a truckload of tweeters that could just barely get the front half of that room, sorta.
Congrats from a fellow Kyle! :) Has anyone ever told you that you look and sound like Matt Damon from The Talented Mr. Ripley? It's a compliment lol but the resemblance is uncanny
this venue is about to have the craziest backline of all time
Hey man, make sure you have room for the groupies ! Oh ya !
Dude you need some camera and alarm systems in there. Pretty cool, but yeah, you have some hording issues. hahaha! Good luck in doing this. More musicians need to be able to get out and play.
Finally someone who realizes you have to take control of the room with your PA.
Wow. that is quadruple the number of amps I've ever seen at any music store. Crazy, but cool - I guess?
It's always kind of impressive and mixed feelings about seeing a bunch of nice amps. It's always cool...
Nice!
Fuck this is living the dream right here
Living the dream man
Holy crap! Congrats, brother! I have to say, I"m a little confused about the 'live venue'. Is that for a band to basically record live, while having a few guests over? Or am I just not getting the size of it? Just curious, and regardless, I wish you nothing but the best! (And I wish I were in the area to take advantage of it all, too!!)
