You should do a video about the playboy bunny cult Hefner created. I heard he was actually afraid to be alone and had no personality. That sounds like thats why he created all the playgirls so they could fawn and adore him but he was actually a weak scared little boy behind the facade he created and a lot of those girls are really messed up now because of that.
I agree this would be an interesting topic. I’m not sure I would say they are all messed up now because most bunnies actually had no intimate relations with him. Those who are speaking up now, that were part of the inner circle had a rough go of being deprogrammed

My youngest brother was the black sheep, mainly because he looked like my father, and behaved in similar ways to my father’s younger self - vulnerable, gentle, kind - before the damage which changed him.
For a while, I was the golden child, because I was the first child and an achiever. When, as a teenager, I began to SEE my father as who he was - manipulating liar, etc. - he turned on me, as well.
Sir, as an empath the number one way i know someone has suffered from sexual abuse or assault is the shame in their eyes.
For just a split second a shadow of shame when i meet their gaze and heres the kicker and breaks my heart: ITS NOT THEIR OWN SHAME.
Its someone else's shame.
And what it is is what sociopath or hell a narcissist does is to project their shame onto others. Just for making them remember that they feel ashamed.
And what are cult leaders?
Narcissists.

3:15 That is exactly what it was like in the cult I was in. When I decided to take a job offer that required me to move abroad, the leader perceived it as a personal betrayal and abandonment as well as an abandoning of the community (even though there are community members across the country 🙄). In retrospect, it was really weird. They attended my going away party, were full of happy tears and well wishes for me. We had plans for ways I could remain in the community even while abroad. And then…I was immediately discarded as soon as my plane was across the water. It was kind of like they opened the door to let me out and then slammed and locked it behind me.
(And yes, I’m currently in therapy for it.)

@@iugaldem Looking back on 20 years of being in that cult, which was often a cult of one, I definitely consider myself fortunate to be discarded. What surprised me was that 6 weeks after being discarded, my stress levels dropped, my sleep improved significantly, and my unexplained body pain and inflammation disappeared.

My dad was the cult leader for my mom, me, and my 5 siblings. Magic p€n!$, Bible, sadism, and all. I say WAS because I escaped the cult, as the family scapegoat and outcast, so IDK what the status of the cult is, but I'm out.
