There were a few moments where I almost had a heart attack because you were out of time bank and explaining a spot. Great video imo. I enjoy how you talk about spots and the differences in strats when we move down in stakes. Time to go watch the other vids you referenced.

Can you say a little bit about why you implement a limp strategy with AA, KK? I’ve watched most of your vids and seen you do this several times. Do you balance your EP limp range in any way? It’s just the one thing I’ve seen you do that seems odd. Thanks!

It's normal to not get it, it's very unorthodox, I know...but I do it because it's more profitable than open raise
My guess is because early position opens get a lot of respect, ie folds from later players because they understand EP raise means typically stronger range and in general these lower stake pools are nitty. However, EP limps get the opposite, they do not get respect and there are players that will see a limp and think free money or easy iso spot etc. and make it 4/5/6x. You might even have a second player that attacks the iso-raising player because they think they are trying to iso the limp. Suddenly you have raise re-raise in front of you with AA. This happens often enough that the +ev outweighs the standard RFI approach.

Am I seeing this correctly? Obviously, there is some editing and fast forwarding a bit. But I never see this many hands to play in a session like this. I can go almost a day without seeing all the quality hands you played. I'm more in awe of how many good hands you're getting and the fact that the flop isn't disastrous. Maybe I'm just that guy. Lol

Talking about my experience on low stakes... to crush the limits NL2, NL5, NL10 or NL25 you just need focus on ranges +EV, to make your post flop easier. Dont force a lot, focus on pots with good equity.

Mate i have nothing but respect for you, I think you have almost mastered the game. However, i feel it's bad to promote GG Poker considering what they do to the community, If all of the content creators stop playing there, they may lower the rake.
That's just my opinion.

I play on stars but where I play I only get 25% rakeback max. All of these sites are scumbags.

haha come to germany its even worse for us now - have to stop online poker the rake is too much. I dont think the game can be beaten with that rake. Government and gamble sites team up to get your savings … take care!

do you always 3bet QJs vs EP in high stakes? this hand is folded sometimes, just wondering how you approach these 0 ev raises. Obviously with the skill edge It is a good play
What's the difference in raise sizings? It seems like utg is generally min raise and most other positions are 2.5x. Sometimes in other positions though you are min raising and it seems like maybe you are doing that with your offsuit/non pair combos. Is that what your strategy is?

Yeah, beating it pre-rakeback should be quite hard. You can still win post rakeback though. I think most sites are decent options for low stakes, but I think the best ones are Bodog and 888

I have a question about rake on GG, everyone saying that it’s very high there, but if you check primedope and compare rakes, so under nl50 GG has one of the best structures in industry. Yes, on nl50 rake is higher but not so much, so am I missing something? Why everybody just repeats the same? Thank you

Hi! I wonder how much tougher the games are on NL50/Zoom50 on Stars? Do you have any data or educated guess? I know the difference cannot be huge, put since poker is already a game of small edges, game selection can obviously have a great impact on results.
Nah the difference is huge. Much worse players on GG
I know I'm late, but I've played some 200 and 500NL on both, the difference is night and day. Stars is pretty much solid pros and one decent rec on the average table, GG is a clown show with 2-3 very bad recs on many tables and the regs are really weak too. GG 200NL is softer than Stars 25NL as I remember (haven't played in years though). The issue is ofc the rake, on Stars it's not bad on midstakes and low stakes is also bearable, you also get ok rb nowadays even if you win. GG midstakes is very heavily raked, low stakes is straight up robbery, and the rb is very little for winners. Haven't put in near enough volume to measure correctly as I'm mostly playing live nowadays, but I'd estimate GG is considerably more EV (esp during the day in EU), but not by as much as you would think by watching how bad people play on GG.

Hi Saulo. Thanks for the great video. I was wondering, are there any ways microstakes players can access MDA without having to be in a CFP/stable? To be honest my results aren't good enough to get in any CFPs. The analogy I like to use is: CFPs/stables can polish rough diamonds, but they can't turn shit to gold, if you see what I mean. 😄

thats kind of interesting with JT9 that solver doesnt shove with any of its nutted hands. only like one class below nutted and bluffs with blockers. i don’t think this is something i can use in micros bc people hate folding in 3bet+ flops before the river (at least on bodova/iggy), i actually exploitatively shove flop/turn bc of this. but still that’s interesting to know.

at 34.50 min you raise the A3dd and say you like these spots to raise. I have seen you do raises like this in other videos too. My question is, after checking the turn what are you really representing here thats credible? Lately I have read people as weak in many spots but am hesitant to raise because unless I can credibly rep a strong hand it seems like they will be inclined to call no? Honestly it doesn’t matter what you are repping so much, this spot is over folded by population. Of course just be careful what board texture and what sizing they use, obviously don’t raise over bets without great blockers but vs the standard size, go crazy

The same for 3bets and calls for example
I assume: If you have a clear edge over the field , open. Otherwise: You mostly boost variance, - and pay rake on top.
Make sure you scan who is on your left. The less 3bets you can expect to face the more you should be willing to open
