Great video again, I was thinking of getting a direnza rad because there a good bit cheaper but if they don’t fit right with an airtec stage 3 or r-sport stage 3 intercoolers I’ll not bother with a direnza rad and save up a bit more for an airtec, get what you pay for I guess! What would be more worth it a cp340 or revo stage 2 with sps box if want to upgrade to rs turbo in future?
Each to their own: both great in their own respect, so don’t discount either! Thankful for the positive feedback and reference the Intercooler - choose an RS style to fit the Stage 4 🙌
Hi do you have to upgrade the rad for this or can you still run the stock one ? Also if I buy the cp340 what other tho g do I need for it to work too like big brakes or rs clutch etc ? Thanks
You do not have to upgrade. For the larger intercooler, fitting an RS Style Radiator is necessary however to enable to pipework routing. For CP3 you’ll need a Turbo Back Exhaust System, Intercooler, CAIS, Actuator, RS Injectors and Software. We recommend an RS Clutch and you’ll need proof of Block Mod. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.
Ok thanks for the reply. So if I wanted the cp340 I would have to change my turbosmart actuator to a Collins one? Also I use to have the Cais which Collins recommend but no longer have as I had the pro alloy oil catch can and breather kit installed and it no longer fitted as the hoses got in the way.
Couple of questions. Can you run CP340 on standard st turbo? Would I have to pay extra to unlock my ECU as I have a Revo stage 2 and people say it’s locked to them? Do you have to have a block mod for the CP340 because I’m looking to get a RS forged engine next year with you to start going big boy power I wouldn’t want to waste £700-800? And finally can I buy parts from you and get them all fitted at a later date?
Abandoned Seekers with an RS Engine CP wouldn’t insist on a Block Mod. We can write the CP340 Over the REVO Software if you wish. Without issue. Yes you can indeed buy the parts from us in advance. Thanks for the great questions 💙
Ok cool thank you. I have a ST engine but will be looking at getting RS early next year so I wouldn’t want to spend money on a block mod on my st engine. I’m looking at buy stuff from yourselves and then getting them all fitted in one go lol
You’ll need the oil feed and return pipes, along with the restrictor to suit the RS Turbo; if these didn’t come with the used parts purchased. Furthermore you’ll need silicone to adapt and the new gaskets, plus seals, obviously. What software are you planning on running? You’ll need the RS sensors, injectors and other supporting mods.
Collins designed the Software for 440cc RS injectors. It certainly wouldn’t be something that we would advise to run with incorrect sized injectors. Thanks for the question and for watching 🙏
Good video and very informative. Getting addicted to watching thesevideos.
Keep up the good work 👍
Jason Dexter worse things to have an addiction to...
Thank you 🙏
CP340 one of the better maps for a standard turbo'd ST, very progressive and holds the boost quite well, very recommended
Black mk2 ST looking well sweet on the mk3 RS alloys
Agreed 💯

New fiesta st 3 cylinder is that true
Is there much of a difference if any between the Collins actuator and a turbosmart actuator?
The Collins is a progressive setup and unique essentially to the CP3 or 340 setup essentially.
Hope this helps

Maybe if you buy another in the future.
