Great tip thanks. I got mine today play a pickup game. They made my Future 5.1s even more comfortable than they already were. One thing to note is they do widen out your boots in the mid foot.
They are very much worth the money...I bought a pair of Active Pro Insoles (before they made Cleat Pro) like Josh suggest and they made my HyperVenom Lows so much more comfortable...my feet stopped hurting after every time I used them for long periods of time ...
Josh, just a thought. the original insoles in soccer cleats do not always fit perfectly. So, while it will work to cut custom insoles to their shape, it is not always the best choice. Better to make the slightly larger and then shave them down until satisfied.
Hey josh after seeing your videos im back on the fields again after 3 years. Thanks for you videos and ofc for these intros. Many greetings from Germany. Keep it up not much left for the 500k
Hey Josh, Great vid! I was deciding on whether or not to go in for a pair. Thankfully you had a review done already (as always). I just have one small question: You mentioned that it's okay to switch the insole from shoe to shoe, but would that be fine with different shoe models, ie. Mercurial to Hypervenom? Would there be any major problems with the fit? Thanks so much and keep up the good work!
Different shoes will have different shapes, so it's possible that if you trim them to fit a specific pair, when you put them in a new pair, they won't fit perfectly. I've worn the same insoles in multiple pairs and that hasn't really been an issue.
In the Swansea vs Chelsea game I saw morata warming up wearing the predator 18+, so he's worn almost all of the Adidas sylos this season besides the copas,Thoughts?
Tekker Night I own both the SpeedGrip and the CurrexSole ActivePro and I gotta say I use the CurrexSole more. That’s just a personal preference, of course, but just a fair warning that it will feel awkward for some boot models that you put them in. Using the CurrexSoles will make the fit better (if you’ve been struggling with a tiny amount of dead space) but they also change the overall fit slightly. The SpeedGrips on the other hand I found to be too thin but excellent on models such as the Hypervenom Phantom I and other low-profile boots.
I'm a Big fan, But I can never fit the soles in my boots. And when I do fit them it feels horrible? haven't tried these but allot of different soles. Not 1 of them feels good? what to do?
Are these, in your opinion, better than the shock doctors insoles? My biggest issue is stud pressure around the ball of the foot in my tiempo 7's, did you notice any improvement with stud pressure?
Hey josh. My insoles on my phantom 3’s ripped. The fabric completely came off. All that’s left is a rough surface on top of the foam itself. Can u recommend good replacement insoles for >30?
Those are still basic foam insoles. That kind of insole is fine, if there is some form of arch support built into the base of the shoe, which is often the case with running shoes, but not with soccer cleats. Those insoles just aren't the same as these.
Hey Josh....just wanted to say love your videos and i watch daily!! And um i have a deal with the X 16.1s at 80 dollars....should i get those or the hypervenom phelon 3s at 70 dollars?
Are there cheaper replacement insoles that are thin throughout the front and also heel, while still being good quality? For me the stock insoles aren't good.
Jensenh.10 insoles you get made by a podiatrist I have $400 insoles and honestly I cannot wear them anymore because they were made when I was like 12 years old and I’m 35 now lol 😂
Question here!!! I have flat feet, but I run on the ball of my feet or tippie toes. Are there insoles that gives cushioning on the front with the same arch support. I'll try this ones. I remember years ago I got cleats from rebook, they had the best insoles ever, with cushioning in the heel and front and arch support. They worn out and rebook don't sell them separately 😑😲😞 P. S You were right I found the bomba finale on eBay, someone read your mind and put them for sale. They are use. But I don't care lol
You can't really add a ton of cushioning to the insoles because there is only space for something very thin. These are the best insoles that I have personally ever used.
Great vid Josh! I'm about to get a pair, but I'm just a little conflicted. I'd like to move this pair of insoles in between different boots, one size 8.5 and one size 8. The sizing guide says that the S is Men's US 6.5-8, while the Medium is Men's US 8.5-10. Would you recommend the S even tho it might be just a little bit shorter in the 8.5 boot? Or get the M and trim it down to 8.5, which might be a little bit longer in the size 8 boot?
Josh, I'm suffering from plantar fasciitis, hopefully this will help alleviate the pain. I wear a vapor 10 AG for turf and a hypervenom phantom FG for grass (both 10.5). The insoles are slightly different for the two models. Do you think it will be problematic to switch this insole between both models? Really don't want to buy two pairs as they are expensive.
You'd have to try to find out. Obviously they'd have to be cut to fit into the smaller pair, so it's possible that they might slide around in the bigger pair.
Fruno Bernandes, I just copped some future 6.1s. I had some curex clear pros on my phantom venoms, wanted to swap my insoles but the puma ones are a tad longer. Think I’ll have issues?
Aaron they will come bigger than what the size says because they are trim-to-fit so just go with the 10 US. I’m not Josh but I have these and I’m speaking from experience too.
If I wear a size 8.5 in the Tiempo Legend 7s which run a half size small, so would you recommend I buy the Medium (size 6.5 to 8) or the Large (8.5 - 10) I am leaning toward the mediums since you said they tend to run big and I am worrying about the heal portion being to wide on the larges, but I was wondering what you recommend.
They essentially changed the name, but Cleatpro, the ones in this video, is the latest version. Upgraded materials, new liner and even better overall quality.
I currently have the adidas messi nemeziz 18.1 and my the bottom of my feet and sides have been hurting a lot. I also found out that I have low arches. Do you think that these will help?
Soccer Reviews For You it feels more like a burning pain in the bottom and the outside of my foot. Where I stop running for a second and it starts to go away and then slowly comes back again when running/sprinting.
@@tacticalstud IC (indoor court) and TF (turf) soccer boots in a given silo are nearly identical, the only difference being multi-studs on the rubber outsole. The question asker here already understood this.
You still wanna be close to the ground with a locked-in fit using IC and TF boots, so a thin orthopedic insole with a flexible arch section remains just as necessary as it is with the outdoor boots.
Hey Josh, I’ve got the new mizuno alphas (the heel is a slightly lower profile than I’m use to). Will these inserts raise my heel up too much, disturbing comfort? I’m also struggling with the amount of volume in the forefoot (I’ve get narrow feet). Could doubling up on OG insoles and the currex be an issue? It’s just really annoying with the forefoot volume
They shouldn't really raise your heel up at all, although the insole itself will likely be a touch thicker than the stock ones. If you double up the insoles though, that definitely will elevate your heel inside of the boot.
Hey Josh, I got some predators which are laceless and they feel great but after a while of playing my big toe starts to hurt a lot... would a sole change do anything or what should I do?
I struggle with the same issue playing in laceless boots. The issue it the lack of true lockdown across the top of your foot holding everything in place. The top bit stretches, your foot slides forward slightly and your toes jam against the front of the upper, which is uncomfortable. There really isn't any way to fix that. That's one of the major reasons why I'm not a big fan of laceless boots.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou do you know of any thinner aftermarket insoles? I find most shoes to have little toebox volume and having none or thinner insoles make them better.

I have custom orthotics, and they are expensive but worth it, they sell them in a sport variation which is thinner and more flexible.
Bought these a couple months ago and I’m 100% percent satisfied, I use them with all my cleats and definitely got my money worth for it

Most do have removable insoles. Some really low-end boots have the insoles glued in.

Technically, yes.
Do you use the same insole or do you have different insoles for different cleats?
I use the same pair and just put them in different boots.
What if the boots have the nikegrip insole?
How to know my arch level

Medium.

If you're already wearing Trusox, I don't think the extra grip on these will be all that noticeable.
My mercurial vapor 360s cause pain in the outside of my right foot in the middle. Any ideas on how I can prevent this?
Are they brand new? How long have you been wearing them?
Sounds like you just have to fully break them in.
But wouldn’t that be bad for mercurial since mercurials are meant to be light
You'll be much slower if you develop plantar fasciitis because you didn't have arch support in your boots.

Could i use these on regular shoes as well?
Yes, and they make different version for different sports and types of footwear.
