I have 5 of the gen one NASCI 3000's a couple of them are 5 years old. They have caught a lot of fish and are still just as smooth as day one... it has my vote for the Best $100 reel on the market
That VANFORD is a BAD reel. Love mine. The OG Nasci has been a solid reel for me as well. I’ve been eye balling the new Nasci 1000 size for crappie/freshwater trout. Can’t wait to see your follow up video.
Great question. I haven’t fished a battle 3 before but my brother in law loves his. I think you are right in that it’s all about the brand that you like. As far as Shimano, they are upgrading their lower end reels to compliment their upper end.
Hey buddy. I honestly think it would be more tailored to what type of fishing you are doing. I paired it with a 6-14lb rod for mixed inshore use (drum, trout, flounder) and mixed nearshore use (Spanish and Albies). It would be a great reel for a 4-10lb rod and a great reel for 8-17. Of course you would want to adjust your braid size to whatever application you are going for.

Didn't know giving constructive criticism would hurt your feelings so much or was it "damn". Either way, if this is the worst feedback you've received you must be doing something right. I'll be sure to watch the other videos you have actually fishing with the product to get you those extra views.

Dude my local shop has the new Nasci on a St Croix Victory rod as a combo lined with power pro 10 or 20lb for 319

Is this comparable to the penn battle 3s? Its around the same price range....is this like a chevy/Ford thing if they both do about the same thing?
