Im sure you know this already but you can use the provided shims to correct the line lay issue.... Add or delete to solve the problem, it happens on most spinning equipment when using larger braid... Cool video
Great video. Spanish are some of my favorite fish to go after. Now I feel like I need to make a trip to the coast SOON. Maybe you can play with the washers to correct the line lay. Most of my shimano's are good from the factory buy some of my Daiwa's have needed washers added or removed for that perfect line lay.
Man we have had some tough weather lately but fall fishing is heating up for sure. I have other Daiwa reels with line lay similarities and it doesn’t bother me at all. You are absolutely right that it could be tweaked. Thanks for checking out the video.
Im not sure without doing the research. Look at the line capacity and that should tell you - I’d assume the 2500 is a hair smaller. It is in most models.

I need to watch a video on how to do it and try it out myself. Thanks for the tip Roger!
Great stuff add a washer (or remove I can’t remember) or two to make the line spool evenly.
Thanks buddy. It doesn’t even bother me enough to mess with it. Haha.
