I'm using 2500series I go fishing every weekend I cast for 6hours and I really love it. so far I used it more than a year and still smooth. I'm planning to buy 5000 series for popping. Thank you for the review. I'm from Philippines.
No problem buddy glad you enjoyed the video and it hopefully helps some people out. Also yeah mine still works great and I have landed some monster fish with it. Also that's awesome glad to have you watching 😁 good luck over there 🎣
Hey buddy thank you so much for watching, I put a lot of effort into the video. Also yeah for the price it is a good reel no doubt. Still no issues with mine so far.
I think if you get the 5000 or 6k version I think it would be just fine the 4k version I got is a little small. It will handle Spanish, smaller kings, and jacks, and etc. But I would not be casting the 4k version at Big jacks or tarpon.
One is on a st Croix avid and one with a st Croix mojo inshore. The rod really depends on the type of fishing your gonna do. If it's for live bait fishing structure you may want a beefier rod and if your fishing with artificial a lighter rod but it's really what your preference is. Good luck 🤞

Would this real hold up good to weighted rigs and pier fishing?

@@crhooked what? There isnt a 6k model. It only goes up to 5k bud.
What size rod are you running there?
I had it on a st Croix 7ft medium light mojo inshore, but I like it better on my 6ft st Croix avid medium heavy for bigger fish.
What rod did u pair it up with?
