      It's a solid reel for $100, that's for sure!

    Great reel. I’ve been curious if it can actually hang with saltwater abuse, or if the Spheros would actually be any better for that at this price range being that they both have the core protect. 🤔

    Nice review. Is it all aluminum construction? Or is it some type of polymer frame?

    hi brother what the different between Nasci 2500HG and 2500SHG ?

    • @EionansEdge
      @EionansEdge Год назад +1

      HG - high gear... SHG - super high gear... the shg reels more line in per handle turn.

    2500HG here. I might have a defective unit. Bearings seem to bite at every revolution in the same spot. Doesn't move effortlessly even compared to a Sahara FI.

      Sounds like you do have a defective unit. Might want to contact the warranty department.

    It sounds like the 3000 is worth it’s bells and whistles over the 2500. What rod would you recommend to go with the 2500 or 3000 Nasci?

      I’d take a look at the zodias line of rods. 7’ medium or medium heavy.

      That rod is more than double the actual real. Wtf

    I see you whipping that single 'T' handle around to hear the rotor/gears spin (we heard nothing to even make a call on it) Did you feel the reel foot want to wobble in your hand as it fast spun? In 92' the once top-of-the-line Stradic came with a double paddle handle for that single year. (Did you know they also sold a 3000 size for a time in Europe only?) This handle gives you a smaller circle to turn and much easier to find with 2 handles, but it also entirely removes that reel foot wobble. Now, you'd never reel fast enough when fishing with it on a rod to feel that wobble. Not often do you give that handle a hard hands-off spin, maybe to pick up slack...BUT in those fast off-rod test spins all you FEEL IS SILKY SMOOTH with a double paddle handle fast spin. I change the handle shaft out (reel body widths vary) and put it on an old Spirex replacement double paddle handle. It's even more compact for storage. I much prefer the double handle to the single 'T' handle, you can actually pick up line faster turning a smaller circle, and you know from off rod spin tests it's actually smoother, all that, off-rod test spin reel foot wobble you feel comes from the T-handle itself, so even though you can't really feel it when fishing, you know it's operating smoother with a double paddle handle. Those big T-handles are over rated, especially if you drop your rod to reel in, when fighting a fish. Only clowns reel in with the rod loaded.

      @@ciprianhertegan5525 i prefer slow reel speed over fast reel, the fishing industry always promote fast this, fast that making decision for the consumer as if people are stupid and can't think for themself what a joke (this goes for spinning and baitcast reel in general) ... so i do what i like; while everyone is told what to fish with ... hahahaha
