Awesome video and review!
Thanks!
I love this little track. It's more fun watching a video from corners that I recognize.
Great Review! It's refreshing to see what a Real driver thinks of this car opposed to all the young media reviewers that don't know the proper line around a racetrack.
I like your matter-factness approach to dissecting a cars capabilites. Thanks again & Keep the Great Reviews Coming!
Thanks, Rick! That’s why we do what we do!
got one on order. thanks for the great video!
Congrats! Enjoy it when you get it!
Amazing job Cadillac wow!! the new alpha platform is stunning! Best drivers car!
Another great review!
Thanks, pal!
Thank you.. I needed this.
Glad you enjoyed!
@@BrianMakse I will send you link when I get mine! 😉
Cool car and review. Auto might be faster, but buyers should grab the manuals while they can. Once they’re gone they’re gone for good.
Nice review
Thanks!
Great review as per usual Brian… Is this Cadillac as good as the BMW M5 CS? Or is it more closer to the M5 competition? In terms of dynamic ability
Always go to the IMSA races at Mosport... but I'm stuck down here in Buffalo! Miss that place. Hoping to return next summer. Wonderful track, always an amazing time.
Love the review !!! Love the car….love to track it
Cheers, thanks.
You ROCK, homie!!! Great review! Help me get on a list for the track Edition!! HALP!!!
Talked to Marvin k Cadillac in San Diego last week. I think you’d be #1 or 2 on the list I backed out cuz they are asking 10k over msrp probably still a good deal but more than I want to spend. Not sure where you are but maybe that helps.
Nice review. Glad to hear the manual is worthwhile, and that this is arguably the better performance sedan in comparison to the new M4.
This manual is so much better than the M4's.
I was waiting for, "Whether its the automatic or manual that you choose...choose the manual"
Absolutely eats me that we don't get these in Australia. Cadillac came so close to launching here... killed by the GFC!
I am sad for you. These are good things!
Do the paddles upshift and downshift fast and snappy when in manual mode?
That no lift seems odd!
Looks like a great time
A few new cars have no-lift, but it’s weird for sure with a manual in a road car.
12:25 NO LIFT SHIFT!!! 👏🏻👌🏻
My condolences for driving the automatic
Wanted your feedback off flat foot shifting the manual
Drove both gearboxes in the 4!
At least the second half was manual. Thought they were giving you the same treatment as the ct5v bw
Hadn’t seen the full video yet when i did the first comment. Was watching it
I guess Litres are different up in Canada. 3.6L (US) = 3.3L in Canada?
😂 No, everyone else knows it’s a 3.6L except the reviewer!
Lovely car - I would be open to replacing my beloved Stang GT Performance Pack (with an aftermarket suspension, handles really well) for the 4 doors for my kids. Brian, you have driven both, which ones is the most fun and any notable differences?
The only nit for me is the hideous stuffed diaper (I have toddlers, lol) rear trunklip/overbite thing. It's hideous and takes away from an otherwise stunning car.
Hey Sunny, your GT is pretty darn good. The Caddy is a bit quicker and perhaps sharper. Be sure to check one out with the kids because the back seat seems tiny. HMU with any questions!
@@BrianMakse thanks a ton. Will def check it out when they arrive, good point about the backseats. Trunk is smaller than the GT weirdly enough. The F/R balance is about 4% better in the Caddy as it doesnt have a V8 to deal with even if the V8 Ford uses is all aluminum. Then there is the question of whether I want to spend an extra 50-60K (cost - trade in) on what is likely incremental performance.
Caddy did great here including the interior Vs the ATS-V. This and the IS500 and CT5V BW are great sendoffs and to me much more interesting than Porsche's, LOL. Your reviews rock. Keep 'em coming. Cant wait till you drive the Emira.
@@sunnyvalentino Sry but I disagree... at this price point, Porsche 718 mid engine is more appealing.
Idk if all the extra dough is worth over a Z, Supra etc. I would be interested in your opinions.
Between this and a C8. Which would you get? My order for the CT4 blkwing just arrived, yet my C8 should get here soon. Can’t decide which one to go with.
Both!
It has to be one! Gonna be my daily
@@bhale5048what did you end up going with?
Handling wise. Which do you prefer? The CT4V Blackwing or the CT5V Blackwing
4 for sure.
6MT or A10 for the track?
Depends.
@@BrianMakse I know. Love a good 6MT, which is the case here, but the A10 is very good and quite fast. The A8 on the C7 Corvette was a big disappointment for me.
This or the Giulia in term of handling or steering feel?
The rule on this channel is answers to “this or that” questions require hitting the “❤️ Thanks” button above. Thanks!
I'm curious about this as well! I subbed! Lol
What is the price on a Cadillac CT4 V Blackwing
Schfifty-five!
Isn’t it 3.6 liter? You said 3.3.
3.6
3:14 It's a 3.6 liter, not a 3.3. At least get the basic facts right.
Sometimes I might get details wrong, but I’ll always drive better than you.
@@BrianMakse boom! Love it
