Cover was so good that I didn't notice the error at 3:28 where Anna sings "Tell me I am good enough" whilst the lyrics still say "The devil's after both of us" after like the 50th rewatch.
from someone who had the original song on loop for like 3 months, those are the right words and the captions were off (which is fair since every other time in the song it says “the devil’ after both of us,” this is the one time it’s not) (/lh)
Curses is one of my many favourites and actually it's the subtitles that are wrong as that part is indeed 'Tell me I am good enough' in the original

My favorite is Hollow Moon, I could listen to that one on repeat for hours! HOLY-! FAVORITE BAND?! CURSES?! ANNA?!?!?! Literally almost jumped out of my car seat when I saw this notif and felt like I was in a literal fever dream. Curses was my first and forever favorite song from crane wives and in general, finding it on a random yt generated playlist while looking for songs for a dnd npc back in fall of 2020. It's also the song that made me connect with who is now my partner. God this is so fucking surreal!! Back in 2020 I got obsessed w the band and vividly remember there being no fan content besides a single cover and that was it. It was a desolate wasteland and I only had my silly little dnd group who I infected. Then someone makes a Never Love An Anchor animatic for ofmd and then everything exploded jdtuutdux. But gods I still, Anna you are going to bring in so many more fans I am not prepared. Now to pray to god they'll eventually leave Michigan and come over to the PNW for a tour OTL.
