Thank you, sometimes it's great to hear a succinct summary on a topic like this, rather than so many videos others could make. I appreciate this!

Hi Oliver I got myself a Herman miller mirra. I sat in it for the first 2 days and felt fine and since then my lower back has been in agony with a dull pain. I’ve read that this is an adjustment period? Should I brave through the adjustment period or is this a bad sign that the chair is causing me so much pain?

hey! An adjustment period is not rare... but yours seems to be a high intensity one and I don't like this too much... It can be one of 2 things:
      - either it's wrongly adjusted (e.g. lumbar support too low or too high: ruclips.net/video/eXMLHrOsZrk/видео.html or protruding too much)
      - or it's the wrong chair for you (which is my problem with that chair: the hard backrest creates pressure points if you are a bit bony or if you wear a thick belt or if etc.). In this case, try first to soften it with thick towels and see if it makes a difference. If so, well... try to get it changed.
      Does it make sense?

Thanks for your response oliver. I've decided to try look for a 24/7 chair. I'm built quite broad and weigh 96kg and sit for around 5-8 hours a day. Could you recommend any good 24/7 chairs preferably with a mesh back.@@OlivierGirard

Good, good but the accent not understandable at 2x speed. Are you economist or ergonomist? :D

Just listen at 1x speed 😂... otherwise you'll stress out! I'm an ergonomist with a French accent, doing his best to be more understandable than most of his country mates 😋
