I completely agree with your "the Original Beyonce" sentiment. I thought the same thing watching her energy, how she commands the stage, her seemingly effortless ability to sing and dance simultaneously, her star power, how the crowd is completely engaged and energized by her... etc..Your comment did not compare the two against one another, it merely pointed out that Tina Turner was, during her time and at the height of her career a musical sensation and phenomenal performer. She was to her era what Beyonce is to ours is what was being said when you said "The original Beyonce", I completely understand your comment, and I concur.
Stevie Wonder can look at this and see that Beyonce definitely pulled a great deal of Inspiration from this woman.

Beyonce is talented by today's standards. So much is choreographed, lip synced, etc .The ground breakers knew how to improvise, ad lib, work the entire stage with a live band. Tina was extra special because she was going thru physical and mental abuse, and raising four sons.

Ike, who is the most impressive musician of his generation, team him with greatest voices plus the dance routines created by the Ikettes... It's astonishingly good. 'Goodbye, so long' in this set gets me especially jazzed, the music with the rhythm section swaying and the dance moves excites me like nothing else. It also makes me a little sad that my generations music majorly lacks soul and I'll never get to see this live.
