Tina learned from the best. Ike was the mastermind and Tina executed. For all his faults Ike was a talented musician and a fantastic bandleader. He can not take credit for her natural talent but he gave Tina a platform to shine.Tina was the star of the show but he put their shows together from arranging the music, the lighting and etc. They were a dynamic musical duo which why they're inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a duo.

Ike Turner was a very troubled soul - he comes across as incredibly socially anxious and awkward. He never used to say anything in any of the interviews from that era. Low self-esteem and deep-rooted insecurities were probably main factors to why he was so abusive to Tina. R.I.P Tina - one of finest performers and greatest humans to have ever walked this planet. You'll be greatly missed!
