45 years later you can still feel the ENERGY of Miss Turner! Still amazing as ever! Love her!
Whewww Tina was battling so much and 1969 was a traumatic and rough year for Tina and yet she still went out, put on a brave face and performed 😩. Tina earned her flowers and stripes throughout her career and loved by many ❤️

Jean is still alive. She did an TV news interview a couple of months ago

And I know who Claudia Lennear is, with the long dark hair, having the most fun, perhaps. By summer 1970, she was backing Leon Russell in the Asylum Choir, on albums and on the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour with Joe Cocker. Along with many other backup singers on their work in rock and R&B since the 60s, the Summer 2013 theatrical documentary '20 Feet From Stardom' shows Claudia discussing her work with Joe Cocker, George Harrison, on her own. A stirring must-see.

Tj, see my comment above from June 30. Claudia Lennear is interviewed in the new--Summer 2013 documentary in theaters, '20 Feet From Stardom.' Find it in a large city near you, likely an independent theater, worth the trouble. Backup singers since the 60s get their due. She is shown discussing her work with Joe Cocker, Leon Russell, George Harrison, on her own. Now she teaches Spanish to adults in LA. She couldn't make a living trying to record on her own. (Warners put her with wrong producer.)
