@@hellochannel6344 She started as an Ikette late 1960s, finished with Tina's foreign affair in 1990. So just over 20 years.

@@adambrocklehurst4211 OK. I didn't know she stayed so long.
I know she had a minor role in a movie with Isaac Hayes which title was Truck Turner.
I hope she's still alive and well.

Cut and pasted: Edna LeJeune Wood Richardson Fletcher was an Ikette during the Ike and Tina Turner Review days. She remained friends with Tina after Tina left Ike and joined Tina's band as backup singer and dancer/dance captain when Tina went solo. Her longtime experience as a Turner backup singer and dancer also earned her a position as instructor to the dancers and choreographer on the biopic "What's Love Got To Do With It". LeJeune remained with Tina until 1991 when she retired from touring to concentrate on her family - husband Graham Fletcher, an engineer/architect and her two children from her second marriage.

I love their version much more than the Stones. Just wish Ike had played more for his solo.
