She remained friends with Tina after Tina left Ike and joined Tina's band as backup singer and dancer/dance captain when Tina went solo. Her longtime experience as a Turner backup singer and dancer also earned her a position as instructor to the dancers and choreographer on the biopic "What's Love Got To Do With It". LeJeune remained with Tina until 1991 when she retired from touring to concentrate on her family - husband Graham Fletcher, an engineer/architect and her two children from her second marriage.
