  • This video is a Fujifilm street photography POV of a small area around Eglinton Avenue & Yonge Street in Toronto, Canada. This is my fourth video of this type. I decided on using a wide angle lens because there were a lot of tall buildings around and it gives of a great perspective.

      It's a surprising little lens. It also forces you to get closer to your subjects.

    Another one! So good. Gonna be looking into this lens for my kit. It'll be my first manual lens, and I think it'll suit me well!

      That's great to hear! I got an XE1 for about $150 on eBay a couple months back. Pair it with a vintage 50mm and you're setup!

    Very nice! This is 12mm 1.5x crop? It does not look as wide as I thought it would.

    • @aaronsambeyfilm
      @aaronsambeyfilm  2 года назад

      Yeah, it's 12mm on APS-C. If you're used to full frame using a 16-35mm or similar you're not getting as wide.

      I choose film simulations at random before I go out. I think this one is listed in the description of the video. Thanks for the kind words!

    Thanks for sharing. Did you cropped post edit?

    • @aaronsambeyfilm
      @aaronsambeyfilm  2 года назад

      The images are straight out of camera. Fuji cameras have a 1.5x crop factor so a 12mm lens will have an 18mm field of view.
      Thanks for the watch!

    Osmo poket is better than 7artisans 12mm! Isn't it?

    • @aaronsambeyfilm
      @aaronsambeyfilm  Год назад

      I mean, they're two very different things. I use the OSMO pocket for these videos because it's very compact and it doesn't require me to switch between photo and video on my Fuji. Or it means I don't have to bring a separate camera for video. It's not great for quality overall but it gets the job done.

    Have you recorded x-e4 in 1080p? Good quality.

    • @aaronsambeyfilm
      @aaronsambeyfilm  Год назад

      With the OSMO Pocket? I have in the past when I needed to record a seminar or speaker for a few hours but mostly I leave things 4K60 for these types of videos.

    • @aaronsambeyfilm
      @aaronsambeyfilm  Год назад

      Hey! I think it's about 52mm but it doesn't have front threads so attaching filters wouldn't work without a mattebox.

    • @adiconcepts
      @adiconcepts Год назад

      @aaronsambeyfilm what do you mean it doesn't have front threads? Isn't it 67mm for the filter size?
