I actually love lomochrome metropolis, sadly it doesn’t work on the Fuji X100V because It doesn’t have etherna bleach bypass 😑

Hi!
People don't realise what a masterpiece this video is. From the 1st part it's so bright and sunny,full of life with vibrantly coloured (like before the pandemic). Just after that it all turned a lightless,cold environment which has sucked out all the life,the still cityscapes,moving objects devoid of life(after pandemic).... brilliant background score ...❤️ed it.

The more photos I take, the more convinced I become that less-than-perfect makes for a more pleasing shot

If you’re on an older Fujifilm camera that may not have certain settings, (eterna bleach bypass, clarity, classic neg) then try these settings with the simulations you have. You’ll be able to get pretty close.

I like that you shoot for the recipes' strenghts so well, which is especially evident in your b/w shots. It's not just 'shoot at night, duh' but framing layers of luminosity to create interesting scenes.

Just bought my first camera ever and went for the Fuji X-T2 to save some money while I learn. One reason why I chose this over the Nikon Z5 is the small size and specially the colors. The colors I see in this video are to drool for. Thank you so much for putting this together. I cannot wait to try these on in my own photography. You earned a subscriber! The recipe for Kodak Tri-X 400 has become my go-to black and white setting. The results are gorgeous. I almost always pick it whenever I decide to go on a monochrome photo walk.

Stopped shooting RAW a few years ago. I now only shoot with a 35mm lens and film simulation. It has made me a better photographer, and I very, very rarely need to edit. But then that's just me.

Had low expectations for the "film simulations" coming into this video, when the first "recipe" appeared on the screen my jaw dropped...
Copied the first one, but didnt even get close to this very look

hello, i have an x-t4 and i would like to know how you did it for the videos ?? being that the options are different, for video there is no option to add color or Color chrome effect etc ... thanks!

Really loved the content :D I own a Fujifilm X-T3 and once I knew about these film recipes, I stopped shooting RAW and chose JPEG instead. The photos straight out of the camera are AMAZING!! Keep it up brother :)

You have B&W covered, Kodak TRI-X 400 from FujiXWeekly is a great base to start with. From memory, I use Acros+G for people, with Highlights +1 and Shadow +4 and no grain because Acros adds grain based on your ISO setting, so shoot at 1600-3200 for nice grain.
I have yet to try XPRO' 62, I have a Haida 1/4 Black Mist filter on order for that experiment.
For general colour I shoot Kodachrome 64 also from FujiXWeekly, the newer X-Trans IV recipe. I find that the popular Porta recipes from there have too much of a green tint for my liking.

I’ve always had a certain admiration for Fuji cameras. I have never bought one because the ergonomics just don’t align with my desires but it is a fantastic system. Perhaps one day I will get the X100V. For now and even afterwards, I suspect my Pen-F shall remain my ride or die.

I hear MuseCam - Photo Editor for iPhone has film recipes options that you can insert with text and when you press the shutter button on your iPhone, you will have all the best Fujifilm and Kodak film Simulations coming out of your iPhone, works the same way that the Fujifilm X Series Cameras do.
