Hey everyone! the Kodak Ektar 100 recipe in the video is incorrect. Below you will find the correct one! so i dimmed my lights, got my laptop and watched this masterpiece on the highest quality as i was very excited. you let the pictures and the cinematography speak for itself and get the point across with minimal talking. 10/10 video the vibe is so strong that makes it so mesmerizing to watch… it’s so beautiful… it’s art
Dude, keep these videos coming. They are a joy to watch and the most valuable thing is that you're making your own stuff. I really appreciate the humility and the quality of your work. Bravo!
Starting off 2023 watching this video. Legit gave me tears in my eyes a couple of times because it's so beautifully made. Great work, serr. Hope 2023 treats you right!
Fuji needs to stop the cap 🧢 and give you the bag💰 - no dialogue until 3:28 and I think you expressed more than any Fujifilm promotion, announcement, and/or community event could possibly convey. Everything you create is cinematic, but really impressed that your artistic ceiling continues to rise.
If you're still shooting JPEGs I'd love to see a part 3 of this. 1 & 2 are simply incredible and I've got a few of them dialled into my X100V. It's just a shame there's only 7 slots.
Beautiful work. I love that you focus on the experience of shooting and not on talking about yourself, specs, and the normal review filler. Your work speaks for itself and feels like watching a movie
As always, the images, the videos, the music, everything is just perfect, where it is needed. It's every time a pleasure to see your work, definitely my favorite photography youtube channel!!
It's nuts that a video titled "Fujifilm Film Simulation Recipes that will make you stop shooting RAW II" is one of the nicest things I've ever seen in a very long time. Well done!
it really felt like you were bringing us through your photo collection in a gallery! the white background, serenading strings, and the artistic pacing really felt like I was being treated to a friend's art gallery opening
came in expecting a recipe review, in a usual, "in front of the desk, with some led lights in the back, salt lamp, talking about recipe and some sample shots" but this is a short film, you are amazing dude ♥️
Every video is amazing quality and the vibes are unmatched. Keep going man, it's only a matter of time until this really takes off (if that's what your goal is).
Definitely a huge work done by FujixWeekly, a cheat sheet for creating these simulations. And of course, the quality of this video is impeccable! Love the work, my guy!
Listen, I love this video. Love the highlights on different recipes. But, as a 6K Pro user myself, I want the inside scoop on how you filmed that opening sequence. Love it.
You made me fall in love with fuji everyday I rewatch your videos, is amazing, I'm saving up for my first fuji is going to be my first camera upgrade LOVE YOUUUUJ !!!
Yesterday I was offered my bursary to get an XE4 from a scheme funding film-makers. Your videos inspired me to seek one out and now I can't wait for them to be actually applicable for me, I can finally make my films on a professional level. Thank you. :)
This video is very different for your other videos which are GREAT, but this is totally out of the world. I never felt so good mentally watching a youtube content. You made my day! Also this is THE BEST video of yours so far.
Hi Serr, I must say your videography is amazing. You really know how to create the mood and ambiance through your videos. Beside that they are really informative. Keep up the good work brother!
You are a very talented young man. I love your kind approach, and for me, you are a great facilitator. Who am I? An old 35mm photographer. A dying breed, yes. If you'll let me indulge a bit, I'd digress a little bit from the EKTAR concept. Ektar film was a 25 ASA negative film from Kodak. One of the latest inventions from Kodak, just before they went out of the market. It was an attempt from Kodak to bring, on negative, the vibrancy of the Kodak 25 ASA Ektachrome, which was a slide film processed only by Kodak. The images could only be appreciated by projecting them on a screen. You needed Cibachrome to make prints. They were gorgeous and could yield gigantic prints. Vibrant colors were the philosophy of Kodak. Then, there was the German or European philosophy of colors. It came from Agfa, which yields colors with what you call nowadays organic colors. From what I know, no digital formula will ever give today even half of that vibrancy, which will never come back. You deserve my unequivocal respect and admiration. I am not judging your work. I admire it. Please take my words as an old reminiscence from an old brother of the lens. Keep on sharing your best, please. Have a great day!! :)
Great Presentation of these Film Simulations and WOW, what a Joy to Watch this Video. The Combination of the Videoclips and the Music is really fantastic👍
honestly the best video about the capacity of fujifilm camera and sooc photography ! saved your Serr 500T recipe when it came out, still need to give it a try
Wonderful as always. Side note: many modern phones have rounded corners and notches and such, so I’d suggest baking the letterbox/black bars into the upload instead because RUclips then can let you have the zoomed view like this has, or unobstructed full 16:9 (with bars in there). As it is now, RUclips will force it to zoom because it detects an ultra wide ratio compared to 16:9, and will force an obstructed view on corners and under notches etc. If uploaded as 16:9 resolutions but with the bars in it, the viewer can choose to watch it full screen and no cut corners. Just a thought!
Mannnnn seeing you keep expanding and pushing your creativity is very inspirational, your definitely one to keep them eyes peeled for mhmm (both inner and outer), anyways keep up the lovely work yo!
This video is very relaxing to watch. Chef’s kiss to the shot at 15:47 that nearly looks like a painting. I’m a Sony DSLR user but I’m definitely switching to Fuji when I get my next camera. Sony Jpegs (on their older DSLRs) are not pleasing to the eye in my opinion. I love processing RAWs to get the right look I’m going for but I just don’t have time to do that these days. This video shows you can get some seriously creative and beautiful film simulated looks straight out of camera with Fujifilm.
Your style is incredible the composition of the photos and even down to your direction of the video is insane. I love being a creative and finding work like yours that gives me goosebumps and inspires me! Deff underrated Forsure
Hey man. I don't often comment on videos. But you do an amazing job of creating a mood through your photography and the music you choose. I've been shooting professionally for over 30 years, doing street photography the past several years with Fuji gear. I've watched you improve over time. Keep up the great work.
wow. just...wow...i cant wait to try the ektar 100 recipe ive been slacking on messing with the xweekly recipes and this just stoked a big fire for me. ty
I’m literally speechless… I love everything about this video and images that you created. I can’t believe I’ve just now stumbled on your videos. Please create a book, zine, or something. I’ll be first in line! Thank you for the inspiration!
Your execution on these videos are amazing! I also shoot on the XE4 & im heading to the Philippines in a couple days & hoping to use some knowledge from your videos during my stay out there ! Much love from the Bay Area! YEE!

hey ! is the color chrome and chrome fx on this comment a typo? just cause there isn’t a exact setting for either in the comment you posted!
Shoot film thats the real recipe. Why are you trying to make digital files look like negatives or positive film?
