I have the same and my second lens was the Sony 105mm f4 G lens. Great for versatility and price is excellent
Shooting burst mode will yield a ton of photos. What is you workflow for choosing which to keep? It would take forever to go through them in Lightroom, I would imagine.
I love my a6400 ❤ with my favorite lens, the Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS L which is one of the best lenses for street photograph. Love your video work as well. 😊 Here is from Taiwan. 😉

would you suggest the 70-200 on the a6400 for sports photography/videography? right now i just have a ttartisans 35mm 1.8, and i want to get a zoom for sports mostly, but dont know if i should go for something like a 18-105 or a more zoomed lens like the 70-200

Another great video Curtis, I’ve tried the feet shots a couple of time without success, in the same spot too, I don’t think I e been shooting fast enough and I definitely don’t have a longer lens thats F/2.8 that’s for sure. Since you started using your 70-200 around Manchester I’ve been trying my 50-230 on my Fuji Xt3, something I would never dream of doing in the past but like you I’m not using it to hide around corners etc, being creepy if you will. I’ve had some decent results too but mostly use my trusty 18-55, I do want a wider prime but don’t really want to spend any more money on a system I’m not over keen on and hoping to change ASAP, if I had the funds that is.

High energy post, Curtis. Feet w/tram my fav. Did your wrists/arms ache after using such a heavy lens? Does the APS-C camera record the FE lens aperture and FL values, or the equivalent values? E.g., at a given aperture some light does not fall into the PS-C sensor. At FE 100ml, the field of view would be equivalent to 150mm. Correct? Cheers!

Addicted to your POV Street Photography, could you maybe use the 18-105 f/4 ? Not a 2.8 but should still be good at night
18-105 F4 isn’t good during night( low light ) that’s why I’m here .

Buy the sigma 30mm or 16mm
i have the 18-105 mate. its very versatile but the bokeh is very lacking. it wont have have that oomph of a prime. sharpness is not good too. 17-70 would be my pick
I'd recommend a good versatile Zoom as you've got a brilliant prime lens already. I've tested out the Sigma 18-50 F2.8 which is brilliant. However Tamron 17-70mm is brilliant for traveling! 🤙

@@CurtisPadleyyes, but the Sigma 18-50 does not have stabilization. How does it fare in low light at 50mm in combination with the Sony A6400 without stabilization?

Got any thoughts on the Viltrox 75mm 1.2 for street?
I haven't been able to get hands on it as of yet. I did ask viltrox if I could test out the lens but weren't Intrested in sending it out to me. Which is unfortunate cause I've always liked using their lenses 🙁
@@CurtisPadley I've been thinking about it lately since I love my Sigma 30 but I adapted a vintage minolta 50 I already had, and we know that bokeh is life so f1.2 got me twisted mad. If I snag one I'll have to let you know how she goes, keep it up brother!
There are no rules to street photography. You’re already taking photos of people out in the street. I think using whatever lens you want shouldn’t matter. Great video
