My son is severely allergic to egg milk etc. The kind of reaction that occurs to severely allergic people is called anaphylaxis. But it’s sad to know that the doctor said not to have icecream .!! Instead they should educate the person about what all allergies she has and what she should do if at all she gets a reaction. In India allergies are not that common. I live in USA and here 1 in 13 has one or other allergies. We carry epipen ( an injection we can take during anaphylaxis).
