Overall, cool video, gave you a like. That said, had some thoughts:
    • You should link the original video
    • Criticizing the fart analogy because he chose it… Yeah, it makes a TON of sense and it’s easy for everyone to grasp. That’s what an analogy is supposed to be.
    • No doctors need YOU to keep coming back. Doctors EVERYWHERE are overbooked and you usually have to wait for months just to see a doctor the first time. They don’t need one specific patient.
    • There are a ton of adults that avoid issues. Using tools like video games is AVOIDING, it doesn’t help you cope because you’re not engaging with the problem.
    • Venting is venting. It doesn’t help actually fix something. It just helps validate how you feel, even if you’re wrong.
    • Social media is not a way to actually communicate with people. Human communication is meant to be in person, as you can read their tone and expressions. Text chat is nowhere near a replacement for actual communication.
    • Every person has different methods of coping, but coping doesn’t help with actually fix your issues. And you have to remember Dr. K is an actual doctor with hundreds if not thousands of patients and tons of experience. He’s seen far more people than you have with these issues, guaranteed.
    • Again, venting ALONE is not healthy. It just reinforces handling your emotions poorly.

Yeah my bad, just noticed now, I added it, thank you. Also I disagree with interaction should be in person, not everyone has that access and there's nothing wrong with that. And regardless of my experience or education I still have the right to criticize and examine the points, just as you do to argue me. Also, I did say I have no issue with Dr. K, I even like most of his content, but I'm not gonna blindly agree with all of it either

@@DoDTrueCreatorSF I’m not trying to be combative, just share my thoughts. According to studies I’ve seen, people tend to suffer when they don’t have in person communication. And it makes sense, as people are social creatures. I don’t see how someone wouldn’t have some way of talking to others in person. Even my friend who is completely paralyzed goes out and meets people and gets sunlight.
I don’t agree with everything Dr K says either. But most of what he’s talking about is backed scientifically and not just a feeling or anecdote.

@@thestoebz Trust me I agree, personal anecdote shouldn't be the main focus. But there are some people with different struggles that would make it harder for them personally. I'm glad your friend can do that but that is also a personal example. I have a few local friends, and my parents and sister, but most of the people I find to be really supportive outside of them I talk to daily in call, on webcam etc. And that an be just as helpful, somewhat like a support group. Also no worries I don't see you as combative I'm also just sharing some points from another side of the coin.

If you're going to vent you should also be able to understand when it crosses banter etc, and you should be able to find out ways to just overcome your issues rather thsn just venting
