I’d say adapting it through sprite animation is best, as while your works mainly consist of writing and art, DoD is a specific case where animation fit it best, since the series has always been associated with sprite animation. Especially considering that now that animators like Vic, Ace. Ect. are now in the team and can better show the narrative in better quality. Not to mention how there’s already an episode 1 revamp in Vic’s channel, giving it more interest for it being animated. Not saying DoD being a comic is a bad idea, since it correlates with what you do creatively at this point. If you feel that it will come out quicker in comic form, or you will be able to express the story better through a comic, there’s no wrong in doing it that way. It’s your work, you have the liberty to do as you please. Also to comment on 1:42:28, I feel that in a situation with DoD, the real appeal to a lot of people is the action. DoD does have story elements that makes it more then just a soulless sprite action series (whether it’s depiction of religion, trauma, light vs dark, ect) but I feel that the sprite animation and action served as a vessel to express these themes. Extra Note - Even if you’re no longer associated only with Sonic, you’ve made a big impact on the Sonic community, and your series has been part of my childhood, and has influenced my interest in animation. Regardless how the story comes out, I wish you the best regard on your art career, and wish you best health. Take care brother.

If you're going to vent you should also be able to understand when it crosses banter etc, and you should be able to find out ways to just overcome your issues rather thsn just venting

Overall, cool video, gave you a like. That said, had some thoughts: • You should link the original video • Criticizing the fart analogy because he chose it… Yeah, it makes a TON of sense and it’s easy for everyone to grasp. That’s what an analogy is supposed to be. • No doctors need YOU to keep coming back. Doctors EVERYWHERE are overbooked and you usually have to wait for months just to see a doctor the first time. They don’t need one specific patient. • There are a ton of adults that avoid issues. Using tools like video games is AVOIDING, it doesn’t help you cope because you’re not engaging with the problem. • Venting is venting. It doesn’t help actually fix something. It just helps validate how you feel, even if you’re wrong. • Social media is not a way to actually communicate with people. Human communication is meant to be in person, as you can read their tone and expressions. Text chat is nowhere near a replacement for actual communication. • Every person has different methods of coping, but coping doesn’t help with actually fix your issues. And you have to remember Dr. K is an actual doctor with hundreds if not thousands of patients and tons of experience. He’s seen far more people than you have with these issues, guaranteed. • Again, venting ALONE is not healthy. It just reinforces handling your emotions poorly.

Dang, cant believe I missed this, DoD definitely got me intrigued especially going back to watch years later when I was able to comprehend some of the stuff in it better. Seeing it come back with a reboot would be amazing, but I wont hold my breath. Then again I dont think anyone ever thought SMBZ would come back. As long as the majority of people dont get whiny about it, I wont mind seeing DoD come back. I honestly feel bad for anyone who has to put up with with constant whiners. Good luck to you and best wishes in the future too! Personally I'd prefer the sprite based animation, but either would be nice in the end. Unfortunately I dont have the finances to help, but I do hope you are able to get the support you need.

The only thing I can contribute with is that the concept of "fat" shaming and other variants (like slut shaming, body shaming, etc) are beyond ridiculous, there's just shaming, and the root cause of it all is just the same for any case: beliefs, attachment to beliefs and perception through beliefs. Let us not give it these many, unnecessary titles, which will only hinder us from actually looking at it and understanding it.
