    Excellent guide thanks. Things seem to have changed in current Battle for Sol - Cocijo. I have been sitting very close to the titan at 0% heat and still had Interceptors laying into me! Making things very difficult. May be best waiting until Titan is in meltdown phase?

      @@Astyrrean I am not sure of your stance on AI, but there are things out there that can separate speech from other sound. Some are better than others. Just separate speech from all other audio and rebalance the speech to be the proper volume. It may sound a little off if you pay attention, but it could possibly help if this happens again!

    I tried a Clipper similar to this one. It was actually fast and looked technically adequate on paper.
    The only problem is you may want to add a few Ax-Mcs. Because when glavies or Scythians block your path, even Clipper's speed cannot cope with them and they definitely send you to the rebuy screen. For this reason, I would add 2-3 weapons to this anaconda and go like that. Yes, they will emit some heat, but if you turn off the modules when you fall into the titans, the problem will be solved.

      I run a Clipper, unarmed except for the extraction missiles. I silent-boost on interdictions, and hug the hull otherwise. I've found it more effective than fighting.

    How do you stop the hud flickering (which makes the drill very hard to use)? Is it something like an EDHM tweak?
    The problem I'm having is that my Chieftain, even running at 18% heat (1% after thermal beams) constantly attracts interceptor/hunter aggressors, typically just as I'm about to collect my first pods, meaning I have to retract the scoop and run around the other side of the Titan.

    • @Astyrrean

    Thanks for the video and the build!
    The problems I experienced so far with my Krait (cold, below 18% for sure) - the titan still gets alerted often (when its hull becomes red); when it happens, it also alerts nearby vessels, interceptors deploy swarms and I need to hide under titan's features. When it happens several times, the titan does his blue force field attack, after which I need to repair half of my hull and a bunch of modules. To effectively compete with a scythe, I need a lot of limpets, so I run with 2x 5A collectors.
    I'll try shielded Anaconda, I wonder if my piloting skills will be enough to hide it in caves if needed :)

    • @VitalyNcrYT
      @VitalyNcrYT Год назад

      Tried it out. Yeah, a shielded build is definitely great for this! The shield allows me to tank for a bit if I'm spotted while my limpets are finishing collecting, the shield saves my hull during the blue force field attack. I even run with one fully engineered 0A shield booster (+74% to the shield) and I'm still cold enough...

I duplicated your build and got to the Titan more or less okay, but then spent almost 15 minutes flying around the surface of the Titan, constantly firing the pulse wave xeno scanner, but never found a single sub-surface storage chamber. Eventually the `Goids tired of me, and the Glaives made short work of me before I could get away.

    • @Astyrrean
      @Astyrrean  Год назад +2

      It progresses all “counterstrike” systems at the same time. So it’s quite the boost! Also, it progresses also systems that host Thargoid Barnacle Matrixes (which are otherwise “locked” from any progression), and it appears to be the only way to make progress in those.
