Gandalf: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"
Leeloo: "Multipass."
Gandalf: "Dangit."
🤣🤣🤣
Oh my God 😂
Good one 😆
Zorg is a totally different character for Gary Oldman than Sirius Black isn't it? 😂
This is the only action movie I know, where the hero and the villain never meet in person.
That's true. I've never realized that! haha awesome.
One of my favourite "not-quite-DnD" films. A fighter, cleric, bard and monk team up on a crazy adventure where the DM clearly just starts making it up as he goes halfway through.
Hahaha that is a good way to look at it. :D
My mom's favorite line has always been "Chicken..." She loves that scene. Also the opera scene. Thanks for doing the dance... Needed that
EVERY time I eat chicken: "...Chicken..... GOOD!!"
Mine is "jajahamus" when Dallas shows up unexpectedly.
I have no idea how a whole generation missed this gem w/ bug names like Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, even the director Luc Besson.
This movie has been a favorite since my partner and I saw it in the theater. Just the right amount of action, sci-fi, comedy, and romance - and Chris Tucker with his screaming playing off of Bruce Willis stoicism was perfect!
I heard that the director and Leelu would have full conversations in the alien language with each other on set, which is why she was so good at speaking it in the movie.
Wow yeah Luc B has some crazy weirdness to his movies so I'm not surprised
The Diva sings notes so high, they break Mariah Carey's eardrums.
Fun movie. 🍿
And the Diva's song... just lovely. 💙
Watch Death Becomes Her. Has Bruce Willis, Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn. It's hilarious.
I adore this movie! Chris Tucker and Bruce Willis make such a great team, and I love Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in the "Rush Hour" franchise, and Mila Jovovich, the element girl, she played as a French foreign exchange student in an episode of "Married With Children"
Also in Resident Evil and Dazed and Confused!
From the first time I saw this movie I was hooked ,everything about it ,the action, the comedy ,the cinematography and costume design ,perfect .
I love this movie!! It was a favorite when it was released and is in my top 5! So many quotable moments! I always say… “Aziz, LIGHTS!”
Fun fact: The costumes were designed by the famous designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.
After the movie premiere, Gaultier couldn't get on an Air France flight without the flight attendants badgering him to design new uniforms for them.
The women in the blue outfits were all supermodels at the time who often walked in Gaultier fashion shows.
12:22 I love the screeching tires sound as he pulls off in a flying car.
The mom is hilarious in this movie!! I couldn't stop laugh cause exactly like what most mom's would tell their kids XD
Zorg "Gary Oldman" is also Commissioner Gordon from The Dark Knight. And the other Nolan Batman movies...
Also check him out as the ghetto pimp in True Romance. A great movie written by Tarantino (the first script he ever sold) with a great cast and directed by Tony Scott (Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, Days of Thunder, etc.) the brother of Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, The Martian, etc.), anyways Gary Oldman kills it in True Romance! Which actually has a script written into the script that wasn't filmed in the movie True Romance, but was taken out and became its own movie, Natural Born Killers, Tarantino's 2nd script he sold, Directed by Oliver Stone (Platoon, Wall Street, Savages, The Doors, and many more classics).
Give me the cash!!!
His dance moves kill me every time.
LOVE this movie. Not a huge hit when it came out but most definitely a cult classic.
I highly recommend a much overlooked very underrated Bill Murray movie. A lot of people haven’t even heard of it but it’s been my favorite movie of his sine I saw it in theater in 1997. It’s, The Man Who Knew Too Little. It’s SO freaking awesome. He’s completely oblivious throughout the entire movie. Good stuff, gotta watch.
That was greeeeen 😄
Nice reaction 👍🏻
I love this cult movie 🥰
I love that this reaction posted today! Today's my 45th birthday and I absolutely LOVE this movie! Chillin' at home with a glass of wine and enjoying this so much! Leelo Dallas, milti-pass 🤣
Happy birthday! Hope you had an awesome day! :D
@@NewfieMovieReactions I did! Thank you 😊
Saw this film with my sister and brother in the theater, and we didn't know if it was a comedy or a Sci Fi Action Adventure movie.
Chris Tucker received a Golden Raspberry award nomination for Worst Supporting Actor for his performance in this movie.
That should’ve been a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor!
They clearly didn't understand is character
One of the Razzies few mistakes. They obviously didn't understand the character was *supposed* to be that way.
Chris Tuckers character makes way more sense when you consider the role was written with Prince in mind, but there were scheduling issues and the role had to be recast.
Ohhhh that would have also been amazing to see. Thanks for sharing that info.
When I worked at Tower Video on Sunset in Los Angeles 20+ years ago, I met Milla Jovovich when she was with John Frusciante from RHCP when he came in to buy twilight zone dvds.
That's awesome!
Classic lines from this movie!.green?..super green..multiple pass and my favorite... the scream ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It's definitely a silly movie to have a fun time hehe... I enjoy how extra some characters are
Ruby IS the biggest celebrity in the world +.
I have to say I appreciate you showing way more than any other reactor has of this movie! Lots skip a ton of things that are so important! You’re great!
I appreciate that! Thanks! :D
Leeloo Dallas Multipass
Classic Movie, I have watched more times then I care to admit
Nice job catching the captain planet similarity.
I’ve never heard the Captain Planet analogy before! #instant #headcanon
This was one of the craziest, off the chain SF/Action films I've ever seen. That's why I just Loved it! First saw it back in the VHS rental days now I have a digital copy on one of my 1Tb drives with all my favs from over the years.
I love this movie so much ❤❤❤
Yes… that is Zues from No Holds Barred!! Empressed someone knows that movie!!
I was a wrestling fan as a kid. Haha.
You do realize that Zorg is the amazing Gary Oldman? Aka Sirius Black from Harry Potter. Talk about versability
Also James Gordon from the Batman Dark Knight trilogy.
One of my all time favorite actors. Also played Sid Vicious from Sid and Nancy, Dracula in Bram Stoker's Dracula, George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Winston Churchill in The Darkest Hour, and a boatload of other excellent characters in excellent movies.
@@mjinba07 he has so many iconic roles, but I mention harry since it is one he saw recently 😅😅
@@mercy7473 Yes and his versatility truly is great. He works hard to capture the essence of each character - he's said that in interviews.
Love this movie. Had it on vhs back in 1997:) chiiicken… gooood:)
RUclips recommendations: hey that guy is going to watch your favorite movie ever and knows nothing about it.
Me : Ooohh boy he is going for a ride ! I'll go with him !
Also me after watching : Let's smash that subscribe button !
Thanks! You are awesome!
Childhood favorite
Every film you watch makes me want to go back and watch it ❤
You should! Why not. Haha :)
This movie makes me miss my childhood game - NYR - New York Race, it was based on this movie where you drove the taxi in the city racing... So many clips from this movie is in the game 😁
You know what I've realized that a lot of reactors miss about this movie is the fact that the diva is actually communicating what is to happen from her people getting killed to lilu fighting the aliens, and even her getting shot and dieing. She also was directing her attention on Corbin, telling him the stones are in her
"Glowing crotches" lmfao!
This is one of my favorite movies. One of those ones where when you're scrolling through the TV channels (back in the day) and if it was on I just stopped and watched it from wherever it was. Plava Laguna, the opera singer, is so captivating during the fight sequence with those rapid fire notes and the range.
If you liked this style, written, produced and directed by Luc Besson, then I'd suggest "Lucy" and "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" as well. Both movies that he also wrote, produced, and directed.
I KNEW you would use "multi pass" in the title 😂👌
It's a funny part of the movie for sure. :D
Aziz light!!
Aw. A Captain Planet reference.
"How did she get the stones inside of her?" That's what you call asking questions you really don't want the answer to.
Ps, the priest is Frodo's uncle in The Lord Of The Rings Bilbo
I knew I recognized him from somewhere. Haha nice.
I love that everybody including yourself automatically assumed that the Supreme Being would be a man!❤🤣😅😆🤣😂❤
Hi Newfie great reaction I love Fifth Element ❤️ can't wait for the next video
Love this! Check out other movies from this director, won't regret it!
hahaha waves, fire
MULTIPASS! 🤗
i LOVE this movie and ive never thought of the Captain Planet comparison, very good catch, you just enhanced my love for this movie even more. Thank you! Bless.
This is an awesome movie!
I ❤️ this movie!!! I've seen it at least 15 times!! 😅
Great reaction 👍
5th element/Milla plays also in resident evil movie series
I've never seen the Resident Evil movies. I hope to check them out someday. :)
Jean Paul Gautier designed the costumes. And the Director was Luc Beeson. Frenchies.
If you like sci-fi and Ancient Egypt you should react to Stargate (1994)
Great movie
Captain planet he’s our hero!
He's taking that pollution down to ZERO!
I'm late to watch, but love it!! so glad you liked it! such a great movie. haha love that you did the dance with the diva. XD
I’m so glad u did this. I LOVE this movie!!
War of the worlds 2005 reaction sometime?
Maybe! Sounds awesome. Keep recommending it in my videos and if it gets enough thumbs up I'll add it in the polls. :)
Watch Bad Company. Has Anthony Hopkins, Chris Rock, Gabriel Macht and Boris.
I want a microwave like that!! And I want the pizza dehydrator in Back to the Future as well😁
I love this movie I'm so happy you're watching it❤
Legendary film
Chris Tucker's role was originally written for Prince-hence the costumes-but he rejected the role.
Chris Tucker did not make enough movies XDDD
You should watch True Romance. That's another amazing Gary Oldman film. It also has Christopher Walken ,Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dustin Hoffman and Brad Pitt.😁
Gary Oldman!
Wait...now you don't mind silly & slapstick & Bruce Willis? Then I must suggest you take a look at "Hudson Hawk."
God, I love this movie.
Saturday afternoon and I just found you... I like your enthusiasm... Bruce Willis rocks... Not sure if youve seen him in Die Hard make sure you check it out..
I've not seen Die Hard movies. I hope to check them out in the future. :D
I believe you watched Harry Potter movies. ZORG AND SIRIUS BLACK, are the same actor.
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
Request: Shogun by James clavell(sp) starring Richard Chamberlain.
The book was an enormous best-seller in the 80s. The series was super popular. I didn’t see it until years later 1999 on the romance channel TV. Wonderful.
I’m 67 so the older than me yuppie baby boomers 70 to 80+ will appreciate it. And it needs to be seen by a younger group. It’s full of danger, war, treachery, scheming, japans history, ships, true love, etc.
So far I’ve watched back to the future and Harry Potter with you, since I found you a few days ago.
Awesome thanks! :D
I came for the "Multipass" 23:12 😎😎
Gary Oldman is the 🐐
I clicked so fast. Like watching a movie with a fellow Maritimer!
Thanks! :D
So it near end of 90s first time
The opera part multiple people have attempted, my favorite one was Dimash, maybe you can react to that. I've seen that you have reacted to music lately.
Ba-da bum bum :D love this movie :D
From one of your comments (I'm not going to say which one for spoiler reasons) I think you'd really enjoy the movie Stargate (1994).
Have you seen The Sixth Sense? You should if you haven't yet :D
I have not, I would like to check that movie out in the future. :)
You should watch Stargate (Movie) & Stargate SG1 (Series)
hmm fast and the furius 2000 i see yu
2:30- it's 1914 Egypt; the aliens knew WW1 was starting in Europe and gonna spread so they came to take them
4:30- it's Deebo from Friday😂
10:30- nah she just woke up from a 5k year nap and was using language from then
13:35- see there's proof we never figure out renewable clean energy😂
22:58- someone called and I had to run an errand with it paused while she's showing it😁
27:45- this is one of the hardest vocal parts to a song ever written; seriously there's more than a couple videos of people trying to perform it; and even the best attempts falls short.
Unfortunately Tiny Lister died at the beginning of covid.
Ohhh that's sad. :(
Why did he lose points like the accident was his fault?
My dear sir....You said the words "In sheer horror factor..." This makes me beg the question, have you become familiar with the term "Horror Factor (HF:) through familiarity with the Palladium role-playing games, wherein Horror Factor is a decisive combat influence, or was it just a choice of words?
Hahaha Yup! I have a few dozen Palladium Fantasy RPG books being me in each of my videos if you look on the shelf behind me! Haha. It was actually the first TTRPG I played.. other then the homebrew one I made. I can't believe you picked up on that! Haha.
@@NewfieMovieReactions Very nice! I was a TMNT & Other Strangeness guy first, but soon ballooned into all their games.
@@NewfieMovieReactions I'd love the chance to talk at length about this with you, though maybe here isn't the ideal place. if you've a preferred medium, please let me know!
@@jean-paulaudette9246 You could add me on Instagram and we can talk over DM's. :)
@@jean-paulaudette9246 Newfie Spirit on IG :)
If you enjoyed this, you should check out Valerian. Same director
What are you talking about, dude? That movie is dog shit.
When I see this movie I start to realize I'll never see Bruce Willis in a movie again. For those who don't know he was diagnosed with Alphaisa with is disease that targets the language & speech centers of the brain & soon Bruce Willis will eventually not be to talk & communicate anymore. His family has decided that Bruce needs to retire.
