Here’s your dinosaur fun trivia:
-The creature that attacked Claire and Franklin in the tunnel is a Baryonyx, a dinosaur from the same family as the Spinosaurus from the third movie.
-The one with the devil horns is Carnotaurus. Yes, the arms are supposed to be that pathetically tiny. It actually played a role in the books, having the camouflage ability that the Indominus had.
-That thing the Carnotaurus attacked was called Sinoceratops. I don’t know why it had holes in its frill.
-The head butting dinosaur Owen let loose is called Stigymoloch. It’s actually debated if it is a valid species or not. Something it was a growth stage for the Pachycephalosaurus from the second movie.
And finally, not so fun fact, but the Brachiosaurus we see die has been confirmed to be the very same one from the original. As if the scene wasn’t sad enough

Stygimoloch were a valid species lol, just like Ceratopsia and Hadrosaur had different species.
And the dino, running next to the Gyrosphere, at 15:55 is an Allosaurus.

When they were auctioning off the indo-raptor, and that guy told Doctor Wu to calm down and that he could always just make more, and Wu responded with "so will they," he meant it like the Raptor was a prototype. It had absolutely no empathy. It couldn't be controlled, all it wanted to do was kill. So if they sold it, other scientists would take its DNA and replicate it the way it was, without the higher emotions that it really needed to possess. Selling the Raptor meant releasing a new unstoppable breed of monster into the world.
This movie really is a love letter to Crichton's original books with the Island being destroyed and the dinosaurs finally being unleashed upon the mainland being something that I have been waiting for them to touch on for sooo long
This movie rlly is the most faithful novel adaptation of all movies in terms of all the novel scenes they adapt into this movie.
The rex head flashing in between the lightning strikes, just as it's described during the main road attack on the jeeps during the Original Jurassic Park novel.
The sinoceratops licking owen as he lays on his back, a slight nod/reference to the stegosaurus licking and waking up Sarah Harding as she arrives on Isla Sorna. Just after surviving Dodson trying to kill her
Franklin may as well be a slight adaptation of Arby from the lost world novel being a tech/computer junkie and easily overreacts at the thought of being in danger and in an island full of dinosaurs, Arby being described as a black kid. Which Franklin is also cast as being
Benjamin Lockwood being an adaptation of Hammond's original business partner from the original Novel: A very brief mention, Ricard Atherton. Who also introduced hammond to his best college student/graduate, and as we know Henry Wu would go onto work for Hammond himself.
Wu himself yelling that the Indoraptor needs a mother, you COULD argue is a nod to the lost world in how it explains why the wild raptors are so dysfunctional and vicious, due to them being so smart they need to be taught how to act and raised by a previous generation. Which they never had being clones and all.
Edit: to add on the Indoraptor ripping off wheatly's arm and eating is a slight nod to the rex parents ripping the arm off Baselton when he Dodgson and King attempted to steal eggs from the rex nest

The move to use wus hybrids in the world trilogy so far is much closer to the books original point aswell the not so realistic creatures made in the books with their weord unforseen abilities
Loved the direction this took, it opened up the possibilities instead of repeating the same story from the other 4 movies.
Blues goodbye with Owen always gets me, she just wants to be free and doesn't want to be caged anymore.
The way I SOBBED for that last dino left behind on the dock...ugh breaks my heart everytime
They did make a short movie following this one, it's about 10min long, as a teaser for the third Jurassic World. It's called "Battle of Big Rock", and you can find it on the channel "Jurassic World".
The Indoraptor is my favorite in the franchise. Ripper is his name. Also, the kid being a clone, I didn't see coming. It was such a twist. And the scene with the Brachiosaurus being left on the island really got to me, and still does. Also, there was an end credit scene you should see, if you didn't.
Anyway, after you watch _Battle at Big Rock,_ I suggest _The Prologue - Jurassic World Dominion._ Both take place before the new movie, and together they take up at least 16 minutes total. So, you could watch them together in one reaction, if you want.

The lesson I learned from all 5 movies: never trust mercenaries.
I'm a big fan of the storyline, a very creative way of continuing the story without repeating the same plotline as in JP2.
Love the new characters in JW2: I actually already knew both actors of Zia & Franklin. She was in The Originals and he played the main character in Pokemon: Detective Pikachu (if you haven't seen it please do).
JW3 is called Jurassic World Dominion and releases in June 2022.
Other people already mentionned this but please watch Battle at Big Rock and the prologue to get ready for Dominion (maybe you could also watch the animated series).
Love JW:FK. The indoraptor is my favorite hybrid! Make sure you also check out the "Battle at Big Rock" short film they did (it's about 10 minutes long); it takes place sometime after this and before the new one coming out later this year.
You need to watch Battle at Big Rock - Jurassic World. It's on RUclips and is a 10 minute short film set after this movie and it's so good! It's not fan made either, it's part of the Jurassic series.
This movie broke my heart I sobbed in theaters when they left the Dinosaur at the end of the dock...it didn't understand. It was just thinking Why were they leaving it? She was good, she was ready ." I'm here! Where are you going?? Don't leave me!"
The dinosaur that headbutts everything is honestly one of my favourite dinosaurs. He just runs around fucking shit up without a care In the world 😂😂

A cool detail about the indoraptor! It was created and raised inside a cage so everything is pretty new for it. Animals that live trapped (not domesticated animals) get pretty high anxiety and antsy behavior, the "claw tapping" the indoraptor does is probably a antsy tic from being locked for so long
This movie is my favorite JP sequel and I'll never understand why so many critics and people hate it.

Interesting to note, Eli is the 2nd Main Movie Antagonist of Jurassic Park. Many idiots will say "Blah, only humans can be main antagonists, blah!" A main antagonist is a story title "who's the direct threat/opposer to the protagonist", not "who's the most evil" title, and thus anything with brain can be a main antagonist.
With that being said; Jurassic Park, it's The Big One (the alpha-female Velociraptor); NOT Denis Nerdy. The Lost World, it's Peter Ludlow. Jurassic Park III, the Spinosaurus. Jurassic World, it comes close between the Indominus Rex and Vic Hoskins; but yeah, the Indominus Rex is the main antagonist. And this one; Eli Mills is the main antagonist. So the count is three dinosaur main antagonists, two human ones :D
Final note, I can imagine, especially when Ken Wheatley (the teeth necklace mercenary) dies;
It's terrifying enough to be facing death in the face. I can't even imagine how much more terrifying it must be for someone who's a terrible person. Like it's not gonna get any better for them after death . . .

Fun fact: ken Wheatley's death was in the film originally but during an early screening they said his death scene was too violent for family friendly movie so they edited it out you can hear it but you can't actually see it wouldn't surprise me if someday someone uncovers it and release it on the internet if they haven't already

Most people just complain about things and you just enjoy the films, which is what movies are all about in the end.
I personally love this film very much, because it has a different tone and feels very long (in a good way) because you have these different places that kinda split the movie.
Also I adore the Indoraptor. The scene in the cage, where it just lies pretend dead is one of my favorites. Because his design and the way it acts is so creepy - that for me makes it the deadliest Dino in all Jurassic movies. And also kinda the coolest, to be honest.

My favorite scene in this movie: when Owen and Claire look back and the brachiosaurus is dying. On the pier. It's so sad 😭. Hollywood can be so amazing.

I love Maisie's character and when she freed the dinosaurs making Jurassic World on the mainland was emotional. She's a clone just like them. This wasn't the best, but this isn't as bad as most claim it is. It caught me in the feels more than most of the movies and IAN MALCOLM made a couple of appearances.

I highly recommend the Jurassic world camp Cretaceous series on Netflix.
I was surprised when that series came out because I was like "This is for kids?!! No. Can't be." Watched it and seriously enjoyed every easter egg they put into that series. They were very thorough with the timeline too which connects to this movie.

About the indominus rex, it was not eaten due to it being to big, she was just drowned. I presume the mosa did occasionally rip of chunks of the indominus when it was hungry.

God.. the scene watching the shore with the Brachiosaurus still gets me.. none of those dinosaurs asked to be there... They're not "bad" the humans are just stupid.. they just wanted to live their lives peacefully.. 😢😭

The brachiosaur that dies on the island is both the last of its kind, and the first one seen in the original movie.
Ted Levine is playing wiggley also played Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.

I'm also thinking they both have certain amounts of Blues DNA in them how much I don't know,its the only way I can explain how she felt so safe with Owen. Most kids would run to a female when confronted with a man or a woman rescuer not always granted alot of men give off safe vibes. However this little girl had met Claire previously but not Owen yet she still ran to him so maybe they share DNA not only with each other but blue too menacing she wouls sense him and see him as a father figure

I know some people already commented but I highly recommended the Netflix series. I seriously couldn't believe they were making a dinosaur show for kids and I was truly surprised and entertained by how well they incorporated fun, seriousness, comedy with danger. Camp Cretaceous has some serious call backs to the movies/books and fun easter eggs through each episode. The respect I have for their thoroughness and maintaining a proper timeframe is incredible. And this is a kids show!
I also subscribed to you just because I'm waiting to see you do the series. Your reactions to this franchise have been fantastic. Please continue!

The first time when I saw that Owen got was in side of the volcano cloud, I thought that Owen died, than when I saw ham alive, I was thinking if course Owen did not died, he star lord.
Also the beacosuas (why did science words have to be long) is the same one from Jurassic park, so Rexy I think is the last dinosaur that was in Jurassic park that is alive 30 years later, also a t Rex (and yes, the real name for the trex is long (tarnsuas Rex))

Hey @ABKMorgan. Sadly, I won't be uploading condensed edited versions of Boba Fett on the channel. I really wanted to. I tried the first episode to test the waters, but it flopped. It got about 300 views in the first couple days and then only like 10 views per day after that until it just stopped at about 400 views. Since my current subscribers didn't show interest in that show, RUclips did not promote it elsewhere. I still recorded my reactions to those episodes and will be uploading them as Raw Cut watch-along style on my Patreon, as this requires no editing on my part. I can't spend a whole day editing a show that my subs won't click on. I know there are a few hundred subs out there that would click it, but I need to focus on giving the bulk of the subs what they want. Great series so far though! :D

I liked the Indo-Raptor better then the Indominus Rex. IMO, it was much scarier. The clone thing was a good angle too. The atmosphere in this was great, too. Bayona made it more like a horror movie in parts, which I liked. Also, am I the only one thinks that brachiosaur that was left behind was the same one Grant, Sattler, and Malcom first saw in the first movie?
This movie might be bad but it has one of the most interesting endings ive seen. The amount of possibilities it opens up for Dominion
By the way the Park Trilogy and the World Trilogy *ARE* related there all In the same storyline

She. All the dinos from the island are still she's. They maintained the breeding protocols from the first film. Now you need to watch the official short film, Battle at Big Rock. It's one of the best things they've done in the series.
Animal teeth and tusks is what makes ivory like used to take elethant tusks same thing can apply to dino teeth most likely made of keratin same as horns and tusks used to make ivory genrualy ilegal now days but still profitable
