TBH, both the father & son is leveraging each other. There's only 20 seats in F1, and they're basically around one-tenth seconds from each other. Lance being one of the 20 helps open the gateway for Lawrence to purchase a team. Even if Lance is not capable of being the drivers champion, all Lawrence needs is just to buy Lewis/Max over to AS. 😅
Laurence’s track is literally the best race track in Canada, I broke my back hitting the wall in turn 1 and I still go back for more. His track is just freaking awesome…

People who have since joined Mercedes from Red bull all said that they were too focused on 2013 especially because mercedes played it's trick into making Red bull thinking that they had a challenge in the hand when they won Hungary with Lewis. A very interesting video. I didn't know a great deal about Lawrence before, only that he is hugely wealthy. As a life long Formula One fan, its refreshing to see a 'new name' challenging for podiums and perhaps even race wins this year if something happens to the all dominant Red Bull's. In the hands of Fernando Alonso and their 2023 car, Aston Martin have already secured three consecutive podiums. Can they go one step further to the top, last year you'd have been mad to suggest so, this year, it's not impossible. I didn't know he'd paid for Lance to get the Williams drive, yet unlike many previous pay drivers, he's a fair pair of hands to back up Fernando for constructors points.

No amount of money will make his son (Lance Stroll) a better driver. He truly SUCKS! Lance should follow in his father's footsteps into business. When you literally get a free ride into F1 and you STILL suck???? SMH.
The Mont-Tremblant track was recently sold to Gad Bitton (think Holand Leasing, Rolls Royce Montreal, along with the previously Stroll-owned Ferrari Montreal dealer). Mr. Bitton also acquired at least one of Lawrence's cars, his FXX (often displayed with #6). Both his McLaren F1's were sold a couple of years ago, and most likely many of his other cars. He sold his One57 penthouse a while ago, same with his Fisher Island condo. I believe most of the liquidating is due in great part to his divorce, especially the cars and the track. With the passing of his father back in 2022 and subsequently the sale his late father's home in October, the track and dealership sold as well, I don't expect him to keep his Tremblant mansion for very long as there's no reason for him to stay in North America. Sure, AM requires major investments, but he has many partners involved, including Mr. Desmarais of Power Corp so I highly doubt he *needed* the 25 millions from the track that bad, especially when his father's home sold for roughly the same amount, and thus the theory around the divorce.
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast My cousin worked for him for 15 years. She hasn't told me many things for confidentiality reasons, obviously, but being curious in nature I dug a bit over time just for fun The fact that a relative worked for him also helped spark an interest. He's also local to me so I have references to confirm different things (names, locations), and information is quite easy to find when you're able to cross-reference english and french resources. Most information is public if you know where to look, from the divorce and different sales to his Mustique residence and home address in Tremblant, along with other family members'. My cousin worked for/with him from 2000 to around 2015. Started at the dealership through a family connection, added some duties at the Tremblant track over the years and assisted him personally. Here's a story that I find, as a normal person and car enthusiat, a bit crazy! I was told this story over a decade ago so I'm sure my brain filled in some gaps over the years, but they were taking the Enzo on a full-day trip to drive the route he had planned for the 250 GTO owners reunion he was in charge of organizing. Not wanting to drive back the 3-4 hours needed, he called his AW139 in at the end of the first half and had her drive the Enzo back to Tremblant on her own. I also remember getting to sit in my favourite car back in September 2004, his F40 GTE; I need to find those pictures and camcorder footage! His silver 250TR was also there. Great memories. One day he was at the dealership and went missing. Given that he gets chauffeured, his security thought he had been kidnapped because he was gone and so was the range rover... he came back 10 minutes later with a poutine 😂
Aston Martin will never be world champion because of his son. I would ask him if he would only look at the statistics, would he still keep Lance as his driver? Don't think so
Even though he bought a seat for his son, Lance has done a decent job of driving, especially when compared to some drivers that got in through just money or connections (cough and say Mazepin!)
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast maybe but its a lot easier to grow your money when you start with a lot of money lol. like saying you started your business with a small loan of 400k like trump lmfao
An update video might be interesting. Seems that Lawrence has recently sold his superyacht (and now rents it from the new owner) and sold much of his car collection,... also selling or trying to sell other high value assets... to continue funding Aston Martin F1 and car company which are complete money pits... someone close to him reckons it could all be over soon...
It's an achievement to be able to maintain and grow inherited wealth as wealth is lost by the 3rd generation beginning with the second. The majority of the heirs of rich families rarely remain rich as the children never acquire the skills necessary to create wealth due them not caring about the family business or having different career interests. The children of my boss have zero interest in their father's business and have no plans to take over after their father.
Very good video. We recently just released a video on his son Lance Stroll and the hate he gets. Good to know where the 3.6 billion net worth came from.
Side Note: Think you downplayed Aston Martin (company) success since he took over. They're moving more vehicles than ever, added new models to compete in other demos as well
Well, my main point was from a financial side as that's what I'd focused on with all his previous investments. But 100% you're right, he's certainly putting in the changes and foundation to achieve the same success!
The only billionaire 4x2s ive ever met in Melbourne were also wealthy from the rag trade. Pretty crazy story of how that came about that no one knows about........The slave trade
Probably good investments and being in the right place at the right time. How will he be losing that money? 1 bad investment. Putting his son into his F1 team.
you cant compare stroll the owner to horner the team principal hahaha. if you wanted an authentic comparison it would be stroll $3.6b & dietrich mateschitz, now Mark mateschitz $34b
6:32 all that money and the picture is not hung up straight. Speaks for his marketing strategies, cheaper and worse quality. I wanted to make a joke about his son at this point, but I won't.
Having his starting money and the valuable connection to his Chinese business partner he could pull it off. I bet a lot of his premium fashion was made in some east Asian sweatshops under very bad working conditions. He is mainly marketing and sales.
great respect for the guy he puts his money where is mouth is he wants to win and he will win, its a done deal because a winner he is, not sure about Lance??

Could have been 🤷♂️
No amount of money will make his son (Lance Stroll) a better driver. He truly SUCKS! Lance should follow in his father's footsteps into business. When you literally get a free ride into F1 and you STILL suck???? SMH.
I would probably agree with you there...
Wow! Can I ask how you know all of this? I struggled to find much information?
Don't think so
I've gotta agree with you, he's nowhere near championship worthy
Dayum, didnt know hw owned the Mont-Tremblant circuit as well, lol
Yep, he's got his fingers in a lot of pies!
3.6 billion seems to little to be the richest in F1
With a $100 million annual budget...
He can only race 36 more years. 😆
Hahahah that's becoming a pretty decent career at this rate with Alonso still around!
Even though he bought a seat for his son, Lance has done a decent job of driving, especially when compared to some drivers that got in through just money or connections (cough and say Mazepin!)
For sure, let's hope he can take it to another level this year 🙌
One thing hes got wrong is putting his spoilt son in a f1 car. Lance has no chance of winning anything in f1. You cant buy talent..
I've got to agree with you 🙌
Lance really has it made.. The kid gets everything handed to him in his lap just by being Daddy’s boy..
Hahaha he's doing it right!
I think the glitch filter of the video is too aggressive. I like it but maybe less aggressive.
Gotcha, duly noted!
Just imagine what Trump would do with a F1 team🤣
Trump 2024!!
😳😳
Wow, props to you for responding to literally every single comment
You guys make the effort so would be rude for me not to!
Funny if it will turn out that his son will become his own undoing.
Already turning out that way now...
Does Lawrence ever smile? He always looks pissed.
Hahaha he really does 😂
So hes a nepobaby and lance is a nepograndbaby
I agree with Lawrence but wouldn't apply to Lance as Lawrence wasn't a racing driver 👍
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast I wonder if Lance will switch to fashion once he’s done with F1
tldr his dad was rich lol
He was don't get me wrong, but he turned millions into several billion - that ain't easy 🙌
Funnily enough his net worth is actually now $3.9 billion!
Absolutely, not only did he maintain it but he dramatically grew it too 🙌
Very good video. We recently just released a video on his son Lance Stroll and the hate he gets. Good to know where the 3.6 billion net worth came from.
Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed it 🙌
Side Note: Think you downplayed Aston Martin (company) success since he took over.
😬😬
How to become a millionaire. Step.1. Start out a billionaire. Step 2. Buy an F1 team.
Hahaha literally!
I wouldn't fire his son . I would put him in the F1 Simulator every day untill he was perfect.
Obviously Laurence is Super Intelligent Business Dude 😅
I'm sure he's in the simulator quite a bit! Just feel he's not cut out for it
Probably good investments and being in the right place at the right time.
How will he be losing that money?
1 bad investment. Putting his son into his F1 team.
I would probably agree with that!
you cant compare stroll the owner to horner the team principal hahaha. if you wanted an authentic comparison it would be stroll $3.6b & dietrich mateschitz, now Mark mateschitz $34b
It was more to include someone everyone knew and reference a previous video 👍
6:32 all that money and the picture is not hung up straight. Speaks for his marketing strategies, cheaper and worse quality. I wanted to make a joke about his son at this point, but I won't.
Hahaha well spotted 😂
Congratulations on you sponsor mate. Happy to see you growing.
Thanks mate! Gotta fund these videos somehow 😂
great video :)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 🙌
I hope he does well, at the moment the Aston Martin stock is down.
It really is, probably just laying down the foundations
His Christopher Lee tribute act perhaps?
Hahaha literally 😂
The intro wave affects lasted a tad too long 😂
Thanks for the feedback!
Stroll is a Bull-Hunk
It's cool that he actually spends his money and gives people jobs and into something cool like F1. Got to respect that
For sure, if I had that kinda money I'd definitely spend it on F1!
Having his starting money and the valuable connection to his Chinese business partner he could pull it off. I bet a lot of his premium fashion was made in some east Asian sweatshops under very bad working conditions. He is mainly marketing and sales.
Pretty much, he's a money maker that's for sure
great respect for the guy he puts his money where is mouth is he wants to win and he will win, its a done deal because a winner he is, not sure about Lance??
Yeh Lance is a tricky topic, you feel he's not quite got what you need
He looks straight up gangsta with that beard & moustache now!
Hahaha he really does!
He also hasson who wouldn't keep his job anywhere but Aston Martin...or Haas
Pretty much!
Watching this video one year later.
Lawrence stroll acquiring Adrian Newey as the CTO of Aston Martin shows how ambitious this man can be! I’m waiting to watch another video post 2026 to tell me how this gamble in brining Aston Martin went up by 3000% after achieving World Championship status!
As a teen I never liked Tommy Buttfinger brand, didn't understand the fuzz and now I get it was pushed by rich Stroll. So shameful to see him buy his son an undeserving F1 seat since F3 cheats, bypassing F2, the kid clearly doesn't have peripheral vision after years in F1 still isn't aware of his surroundings, what a window licker!
Richest man in formula 1… let’s process that. Red Bull more than 50% owned by a single family and McLaren owned by Bahrain royal family. Comparing Stroll to Horner, an employee of his team is a bit silly.
I'm more interested in what he does with the car company than the racing team.
They have been way over priced and under performed for a long time now.
Fair enough, it's certainly a huge project!
Everything he’s done in F1 is to make his son a world champion 😂😂which is never going to happen Lance hasn’t got that bit of magic that champions have and he never will have but good luck lance your going to need it
Can't believe so much money could be made in the rag trade.
Just goes to show what some folk will spend money on.
Look at me.
Look at me.
LOOK AT ME.
Pretty cool how the grandfather put such faith in his son and now the father is doing the same
Question is, is his son delivering enough...
Expend marketing, reduce quality.
And we applaude. Just great.
😂😂
How can he be the richest man in Formula 1 taking into account Red Bull shareholder Mark Mateschitz owning 39 billion uS$?
Do you know how you make a small fortune in racing? Start with a large one.
Hahaha absolutely!
Richest guy in the F1? Mateschitz is laughing in his grave.
Well exactly, he's not around anymore 😂
Lawrence needs to shave. Looks more menacing and evil that way hahahaha
Hahaha idk I think the beard is quite good 😂
Great video thank you ❤
Thanks for watching 🙌
I've saved up fifty quid, can I be a billionaire this year?
Hahaha most likely not 😬
His unconditional support of his loser son is the best indicator of future “performance”.
How he made his billion
His father was millionaire.
Nobody become billionaire with zero
Just remember he is still making a lot of money each day
Absolutely, this number could be quite different
8:25 How does the cost cap increase the value of an F1 team? Can someone explain?
It's not so much the cost cap directly, it's more the fact it helps worse teams become more competitive, then making them more valuable
What symbol were you using? Was it AML.L ? If so it’s tanked even further to 162.10.
What do you mean by symbol?
@@TheMotorMouthPodcast The stock ticker symbol. For AM there was several, all low share amounts except for the one I listed.
Imagine the top 10. Imagine the top 3. We're all just puppets.
