This is awesome, and I'm going to follow this method to cover my new wooden sleeve board. What I value about this tutorial is that it feels like a "workmanlike" approach to this simple accessory. Most of the RUclips tutorials do a sort of sloppy half-hearted job, but I'm new to sewing and want to use the project to learn good technique. I'm hoping taking the board cover seriously will make me a bit more competent before I'm building or altering a real garment or piece of home upholstery with even more resources at risk. So I appreciate this!
Thank you very much! We do take our projects seriously, sometimes over analyzing them, and it is nice to know it is appreciated. Good luck on this and your future projects!! We would love to see how yours turns out. :)
You seriously saved my life I’ve never even used an ironing board in my life until a few days ago and I was so lost on how to close it. Thank you so much
Lol, must be my southern accent mixed with my mom's mid-western?? That has always been one of those words I got picked on :) Hopefully the video helped!
I needed this tutorial! Thanks so much for making this an easy process!
You are very welcome! I'm so glad it helped.

Looks great. I used a great Liberty cotton that was on special at my local store. Very happy with the result and liked the extra flannel lining
Wonderful! Glad it helped! :)
Nice, just odd the way you say ‘May-shure’ for measure.. 🙃
