Just found your channel (the Japanese apron project) and then this ironing board cover. I'm with everyone else who loves the way you explain things, the cleverness and practicality of your projects, your sense of humor, and you get it done so much faster than others. Well done, you.
It's funny to say!! I thought about this several days ago... I like my thicker.... I gave my old iron board to my Son ., a long time ago and got a new one...☺ seem to like it thick thou.. And the one I gave my Son., it was thick... ☺
I've been using mine for about 2 years and It hasn't shrunk at all. If your worried about shrinking then I recommend washing the fabric first to pre-shrink it and then use it.
The covers in the shops are always rubbish so it's so great we can make replacement covers with this tutorial! thank you
Happy to help!

@@TodayweCraft Thank you for replying.
I like to use elastic so that I can wash and replace the cover easily.
That's a really great idea. I confess I have never washed my ironing board cover, how awful is that!? 😅
I think it suggests that it’s much dirtier here! Lovely tutorial. Thank you. 😘
