    It's funny to say!! I thought about this several days ago... I like my thicker.... I gave my old iron board to my Son ., a long time ago and got a new one...☺ seem to like it thick thou.. And the one I gave my Son., it was thick... ☺

      I agree, I think I'm going to order some of the thicker insulated batting online and double it up.

    When making bowl cozys ....100 per cent cotton...does the finished item shrink any ?

      I've been using mine for about 2 years and It hasn't shrunk at all. If your worried about shrinking then I recommend washing the fabric first to pre-shrink it and then use it.

    I like to use elastic so that I can wash and replace the cover easily.

      That's a really great idea. I confess I have never washed my ironing board cover, how awful is that!? 😅
