Oh Corrine , you’re BRILLIANT 🤩🤩 . You’re so right , I need a small mobile ironing board for my projects. It gets annoying to keep hauling my way to the big ironing board . I got to go shopping for clipboards and make me two. Thank you my dear for another very useful project 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love this!! I have a Circuit iron and need a little ironing board! Love you videos and accent!! Oh and I found the Michael Miller crab fabric that you used to make a little pinafore apron…except it has blue background instead of white like your fabric. Made a cute pinafore…we live in Maryland where crabs are very popular!
@@TheCraftsChannel haha. No problem!! For the past couple days, I’ve been watching other tutorials on the little pinafore…so many have you turning the fabric out through the strap… WHY when you can do it your way!!??? So much easier.
I saw the clipboard on your macrame video but couldn't find instructions so I made a padded removable cover for the clipboard held in place by 3 tabs with Velcro on over the clip. I didn't realise that it could be an ironing board as well so it hasn't got a foil layer but I guess it would be easy to put one in. Thanks for the video.
You could probably get away without the foil if you're just pressing seams with a medium iron. The foil will reflect the heat back to make it more efficient though, c x
Hello Corrine, how ingenious, I covered a clip board with batting and fabric for macrame after watching your macrame video, and wow, another use for the clipboard. I just used masking tape in the back, so I can open it up and insert some foil, what a great idea. I also have the small iron and a small portable table ironing board, but this would be so much less cumbersome even than that. Great video!
Just found your videos thank you so much I’m quite a newbie sewer, your videos are soo clearly explained amazing work. Can you advise where you got your tape from for the mini ironing board please ?
There was one I made from leather that went into the magazine so there are no instructions (or video demo) but the template is here - www.sewmag.co.uk/templates/sun-glasses-case-sew-113-august-18 Because it was leather there are no real seam allowances so you'll need to consider this if you want to make it from layers of fabric, c x
I always have ximilar problems with diuble sided tape. Dont worry..it makes you real and more able to inspirre us becayse youre not on an insuperable pedestal!!!
@@claireizzard5853 Me neither! I know the websites were changing their hosting site and I think there have been some glitches in the matrix. Please try it again later today, and sorry for the frustration, c x
@@claireizzard5853 yes, I'm still experiencing issues. I can download pattern packs from the magazine issues but I can't get into any of the links from the demos. I messaged the powers that be and they are still working on it as since the switchover it's 'gone a bit haywire' (their words!) and they send their apologies x x
I used E6000 glue and put a self healing cutting board on the back side so I could cut and press! Thank you for the idea!
Great idea! c x
Love it! I think I'll try spray adhesive to attach the fabric and apply a felt backing. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve had one of those old clipboards around forever! Now I have a use for it! Thanks a bunch!!
I was just looking at my clipboard 😅😅😅 now I can make an ironing board.
Love it. Love the foil idea.
I will indeed be making this, rather than spending the £60 on the mini ironing board I was going to! Thank you for putting this out there :)
How much?!! That's insane 😆c x
Thank you for the video on the mini ironing board! Love mine Kittybug
What a simple but brilliant idea 👍
Wow
Great idea!!! Thank you!!
Brilliant
Great idea, never thought of clip board. Thank you for sharing. Now off to make one
I made one today! Perfect.

Excellent Thanks from my heart …. Moheb
Thank you. Brilliant idea!
Thank you for doing a tutorial video of this. I appreciate the clear and simple instructions. 😊
This was fantastic! Thank you!
OMG I was looking through all of the Craft Channels clips to find this as I had seen it some of your tutorials. Thank you so much and stay safe. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Ha ha, it took me a while to get around to doing the demo but I'm glad I've finally made people happy! c x
wow Nice 💚

Another super (and funny 😆) video. Thanks for inspiring and entertaining us again.
Thanks again for another great reuse idea Corinne! As always you keep it real with a twist of humor and brighten my day.

They're so handy. I have about four ironing boards but use the clipboard one the most! c x

Great idea, thanks. Wonder if I still have my old bingo board in my cupboard haha
Perfect! c x
Love it. Love following you❤
Guessing a wood cutting board would also do
Yes, that would be perfect, c x
Just found your videos thank you so much I’m quite a newbie sewer, your videos are soo clearly explained amazing work.
Can you advise where you got your tape from for the mini ironing board please ?
The tape I used was by Pro Tape and it's their Artist tape. Try a local art supply or DIY shop, any good quality masking tape should work well, c x
Hi Corrine :-) Would you happen to have a pattern for eye glass case? A templatew would be handy as well :-) Thank you sweet lady :-)
There was one I made from leather that went into the magazine so there are no instructions (or video demo) but the template is here - www.sewmag.co.uk/templates/sun-glasses-case-sew-113-august-18
Because it was leather there are no real seam allowances so you'll need to consider this if you want to make it from layers of fabric, c x
That double sided tape would allow a police of fabric or shelf liner that resists sliding to be put on the back to overlap raw edges too Just an idea
Hi Corrine. I am still not able to download and print any of the templates. I am interested in the Scrap fabric wallet. Thanks darlin'.
No worries, try this link - www.sewmag.co.uk/images/uploads/templates/ScrapFabCardWallet_%28S%29.pdf

Could I use cardboard as my structure? Maybe 4 thick with insulbrite, batting and my theme print.
Can't see why not as long as you can store it flat somewhere and it doesn't get knocked about, c x
What iron do you use?
This is a little Prym one but I've also got a couple of travel irons which are perfect, c x
I always have ximilar problems with diuble sided tape. Dont worry..it makes you real and more able to inspirre us becayse youre not on an insuperable pedestal!!!
Thank you, I don't like those demos that are impossible to recreate; they just knock the confidence out of people, c x
Please tell me where you get your iron.
It's made by Prym and it's called a mini steam iron. Seems to be readily available in the UK, c x
@@TheCraftsChannel Thank you. I would like to get one :-) I can't open the link to the tempaltes again....lol. Cheers from Canada ♥
