Yes you can, long story short, Years ago I bought a Fiesta for £200, it was 12 yrs old, only 28000miles, never been on a motorway, no passengers carried in it, spare wheel still brand new, tools still shrink wrapped, it was used twice a week - - once to go to supermarket, every Sunday to go to Church. I couldn't believe my luck...... got it home, parked it in driveway and within 2 weeks some guy came to my door asking about it so I told him, he asked if I would sell it to him, so I said £500 the way it sits, if I do anything to it I'll be adding that on.......... well bugger me, he went into his pocket and pulled out a wad of notes, SOLD Seemingly his son had recently passed his test and was hunting for a decent little car - - - he was a moron as he made it look like an XR2........... and promptly wrapped it round a telegraph pole writing it off 2 weeks after getting it. He's dead now, as he didn't learn his lesson - - - - drove like a dick, thought he was a race driver, lost control of his next car......... ever seen the mess when a car gets smashed into a motorway flyover when doing more than 70, not a pretty sight
Might be a silly question, did you have to get a train back to BCA a day later to drive your own car home? Would it be viable to arrange transportation for the car won? Cheers.
This was local so I arranged a lift. Sometimes I get cars delivered, sometimes I’ll go on the train to collect. Really just depends what suits at the time!
@@BuySellCarsTV ah fair enough. This is a super useful tip as usually these auction houses are in the middle of nowhere, or at least not easy to get to by public transport! Thanks for creating the channel and video. They are of tremendous help!
I’m dying to get into the car trade but very nervous about the start up. Thanks for these videos I’ve just subscribed
You are so confident on camera love your channel 👍👍👍
You don't mention the BCA rip off fees they charged you on the £225.
@@Pauljn67 totaly agree
We need more videos like these
I was thinking you got fees on top plus train etc
BCA prices have shot up now. That same car expect to pay 7-800 hammer price easy. So difficult to buy now
