This was my first car, 3dr blue 1.4 sunroof and I abs loved it, for the whole year I had it never let me down once. Best £250 I’d spent at 17😂

I can immediately see what the problem is..... the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
Is that a fuse in the drivers door pocket? Be worth checking the fuse box
It's my first car, i still have problems around it but it's driveable lol. The gas is acting weird sometimes, feels like it's out of sync when pressing it. And on cold start when idle it tends to choke and rpms go up and down then it stablizies itself.
Is it now available for sale and shipping to Egypt?
Start with cleaning the throttle body. Nice little cars. Repair easily too!
I bet the cam timing is slightly out after its cambelt change. Definitely worth checking on one of these (ex vw tech and new subscriber)
Interesting to hear! If the throttle body doesn’t fix it, I’ll tell them to check the timing next!
I guess that one can’t accuse a car costing £200 as being overpriced, since it could be broken for about that money but like second hand shoes for £1.50, probably best avoided.
i sold a 6n1 polo to a dealer 699 about 8 years ago. The engine on those things could outlast the car 20 times over.

Check coolant temp sensor seen this a few times and was down to the temp sensor

How many miles does it have on the clock, and has the acceleration problem been fixed? I may be interested, as I need a cheap little run around.
I think it was 112,000 miles.. We’re waiting on a throttle body for it

I had one of these, 3 door, 1.0mpi, was a we beast, did me well until it 'died' got it picked up by we buy any car and they got it started again, so I guess it wasn't that dead after all! I miss the silver bullet

Is the roof even supposed to slide or just tilt open?
Pretty sure it’s meant to open. It wouldn’t need such a complex switch for just tilt

6n2 16v the best Polo IMO love mine simple to fix if it goes wrong and parts are easy to get. The only thing that kills them is the gearboxes, they are like cheese and start to die when 1st and 2nd get stiff. The chugging is probably the coil pack, was on mine. Exact same as yours, fine under load crap low down. Also didnt show on Vag com.
That seems OK so we've got a throttle body on the way
