Our 2017 Kia Sorento would not accelerate above 40 mph and after Kia dealership including their master tech looked at it they couldn't fix it after saying they did. Our car had a similar code but was for the MAF sensor. I decided to have a look under the bonnet and noticed the air inter cooler was damaged and bowed. Guess what the fault was ? Yep the inter cooler which was replaced under warranty. When collecting our car my wife asked the service department "when does my husband start working for you ?" she also added " your master tech is useless...." Main dealer garages often aren't the best.

Just buy salvage cars , insurance companies write them off for nowt these days

Add two stroke oil to the fuel at 300 to 1 ratio will stop all black exhaust issues , make engine quieter and smoother. Ordinary two stroje oil and NOT synthetic type. Used it for years on my V70 D5

hint. battery drainage most probably "hedghehog" sensor issue. change easy refit low cost part ...and it is done. issue solved. talking from own experiance l322. fixed and happy.

Many years ago, our local Jaguar dealer would drive the XK engines round in 2nd gear to "clear them out" as few owners really gave them "the beans"!

I'd say that's very reasonable for service price for the pads was heavy though

l have own a RR sports from new for 5 years now, 4 times to the main dealer for service, great coffee but you are paying top price for there work,,, found local garage very competent & much cheaper, but initially a risk at the start, Avoid all the locals cowboys like, kwik fit, they are clueless & will cost you big money in preparing their damage,,,, unfortunately the majority are NOT car mechanics anymore, just jumped up plug-in goons,,,,

Now, I don't want to be controversial, but your older one was built under Ford. The new one is under Tata. Maybe there has been some cost cutting or re-engineering on the newer models, hence the wear and tear. Who knows. I like them both but that Tax and whoa that insurance is bonkers

The car arrived with a broken gear and after 5 minutes of having parked it in my garage with all the oil on the floor. I contacted them to complain and apart from being very rude, they told me that they would not take responsibility for anything. They are scammers.

Used car prices are insane. Ive seen cars 10+ years old, 150k miles and dealers still wanting 5,6,7k. These cars are not mercs, not lexus, but toyota, ford, vw. Rip off britain. Everyone trying to rip everyone off.
