  • I got this 2008 Ford Focus 1.6 petrol in as a part exchange at scrap value due to a short MOT, engine problems and overall poor interior condition. I wanted to show you the full process on how to buy & sell cheap cars, but more specifically by doing some minor TLC to bring these scrap yard bound cars up to a good standard and make huge margins with very little risk.
Part exchange cars are a massive part of being a car dealer, you can really push your profit even further on a deal with a good PX car. In this case where I am receiving cars with short MOT and various faults, the risk is still very low due to the cost of buying at scrap value. It is always good to save a car from the scrapyard and finding a way to add value when buying and selling cheap cars!

So many decent cars like this are scrapped when they only need minimal spending like this. Good job

Great stuff mate! How do I go about when I purchase the car can I keep the log book until I sell the car as don’t want to update the vo5 as it will add another owner if that makes sense?
Also how do you go about with insurance and tax driving cars home ect
    Thanks

After watching so many of these videos ,which are very good. No 1 video tells you about the log book process. If your just doing this on the side and your not a dealer and you just want to sell the car on what do you do when the punter asks why are you selling g the car and why is it not registered in your name????. Still waiting fora video on this subject

Thanks for video! Can you tell me please how is working when you want to flip a car . Do you need to register car in your name then tax it , pay insurance ,get MOT done and then advertise it or how is this whole process work from after you bought the car until you sell it? 🤔

i dont understand this totally.. so you buy cars, pay people to work on it and then sell for a higher price? why not just do the work yourself and keep those profits? it seems a bit counter intuitive.

Can I ask do you have a car pitch? or are you trading from home. I've just started selling cars and I'm struggling to find a place to keep them all.
