With the amount of the spent on the roof working with sheet metal please do a check on all of your safety gear. When I was doing bridge inspection we would do a full gear review once per week. It was amazing how much damage was done to the ropes. GREAT JOB and STAY SAFE.

I have watched just about all of your videos and I cannot tell you how much I have learned and enjoyed them but I have to tell you, this roof installation had me thinking you should have hired this out. Watching you guys (Anna included) figure this out and get a groove going is so very impressive. With Jessie's permission I will say...Alyssa you are absolutely amazing....Thanks for sharing. Be safe !!!

I have watched this project almost from the beginning. I have nothing but admiration and a true respect for your persistence on getting through this build. My family is on our 7th year or so with our cabin build. we are pretty much dried in but have a ways to go to get it livable . All the best and keep up the good work! (by the way, I was a building inspector for years. You two are going the extra mile for a fantastic finish!!!)

You two are fantastic! Thank you for allowing us to follow your adventure. There have been times my heart just broke with all the things you were doing. Your attitude is great. Your progress may not seem like much while you're in it but so much has been accomplished. I used to read the comments here but stopped doing that. I wanted to smack so many upside their heads. Some may be right in what they posted/commented but were so wrong in how they posted. You two keep it up!

It's amazing how much more productive things get when you have a system in place and every moving part is in sync. The way you've engineered a solution to getting those panels on the roof is impressive. The system is working! Great job.

This just shows your ability to overcome difficulty, learn from mistakes and thrive on your own. First day handling the roofing, you were having a tough time even picking it up within it flopping all over the place and bending. Now your moving ahead like pros. Keep it positive and hammer it home. You’ll be kicking back in your finished home faster then it may feel at the moment...

Leaves the cushy life to be a carpenter, gardener, forklift operator, acrobatic roofer, cook, janitor, pin cushion for bees, all while trying to keep a camera rolling on long hot days. The punch, is the right tool for the job.
I just wish you guys would adopt carpenter pouches on a tool belt, and a holster for your impact with a tether, so it does NOT have to survive a fall.
    More efficient and safer.
