If Nehru had embraced a more secular stance, he would have allowed Hindu priests to independently manage temples without state intervention. This way, temples could have reaped substantial financial gains, raising the question of why the government intervenes. If the government benefits from temple funds, it should also shoulder the responsibility of their upkeep. However, it's noteworthy that the government allocates salaries to mosque imams. This particular approach to secularism raises intriguing questions. Even after such circumstances, the Hindu population in India remains rather reticent. Hence, expressing that India is a secular nation due to its Hindu majority shouldn't stir controversy.

Bro I think You should first Study the topic well and then discuss. When you go to western world there is uniform civil code then all Pakistani and Muslim diaspora should have problem to live there. Then why many Pakistani want to go to western countries to live. The uniform civil code is about making every human equal rights apart from gender religion race etc. Just like criminal laws are uniform like if someone comete a crime then the it's should punish according to the law. Each and every human should have equal rights. Otherwise you should objection on western world which has uniform civil laws as human centric not based on any identity.
