Same bro. I am from a Muslim family too and we all vote BJP, not because of religion, but because of infrastructure and national unity. I also urge my family to not listen to maulanas, because they are the ones who spread fake news like "bharat mata ki jai bolna islam me haram hai" and these people go to the UK and start praising the King (even though "allah malik hai"). Islam teaches you to be loyal to your motherland and to be united with your community and country. So Jai Hind, Har Har Mahadev and Bharat Mata Ki Jai from my family to you.

Gautam buddha attained enlightenment in 528 BC (so Buddhism is more than 2500 years old). Hinduism on the other hand is far older than that. There are idols which have been carbon dated to be more than 5000 years old. Some scriptures which are yet to be dated. So no one really know how far old it really is but its definitely more than 5000 years. So stop learning from Madarsa.

    Interesting. My two bits:
    1) Uzair seems to have primarily visited North India. Real engine of economic development is the South. Travel through remote parts of Tamil Nadu and its infrastructure will be the real eye opener. Unlike Gujarat it has had considerable political volatility over decades and yet is perhaps one of the most advanced Indian states. Not only Pakistan but other Indian states will do well learn from it.
    2) India and Pakistan seem the same but they are not. There is a danger in nostalgia.
As a Pak-American friend once point out to me - Indians and Pakistanis get each other wrong because they begin from the point of similarity. This ignores fundamentally different political socio-economic trajectory since 1947 that has created two nations with very different worldviews. This difference is important to emphasize as it prevents false assumptions when dealing with each other.

If you can invite people from the other side of the discussion, for instance people like historian Vikram Sampath, Maj. Gaurav Arya etc. and interview them too. That would give the other side of the argument. Leave the choice of whether BJP and Modi are fascists to your viewers.
Modi came to power with a large support. Unless you are claiming that a large portion of the Indian population is fascist it's difficult to make the argument that Modi is fascist. In

This has actually less to do with the army - although the military is a factor. uestion I would like to ask both the hosts is if India is so great and was so great why did your grandparents migrate to Pakistan? Non of us asked them to come here. In fact nobody is hoilding them in Pakistan - they are welcome to move to their grandparents home. For rest of us 95% Pakistani's whether we are Pakhtun, Punjabi, Sindhi, Baloch or Kashmiri we have no choice but to build our country despite what problems we face. This is where our ancestors are buried and there is no way we will give this land up and move away. All countries have bad times - India had them in early 1990 when you went begging to IMF. Before that India was so stagnant that it was known as Hindu growth rate.

@@stoopidpaki4806 India still hosts the largest and the most abject poverty stricken population in Asia. It has 62 crore people who live under $3 a day. Pakistan has 5 crore people who live under $3 a day. In addition, India has 26 crore people who live under $1 a day. Poor of Pak has crop to grow and farm animals to eat. Poverty in India means starvation due to every other year famine, bad climate and cultural practices.

@@sabrinakhan8217 Very well said. Lot of the 'Shining India' is hype and openly peddled by Hindutvas etc. Indian's are masters at selling rubbish lined with gold. The real figures could actually be even worse because lot of the numbers are fudged. For instance couple of years ago India was known as open defecation powerhouse of the world. Then Modi waved his magic wand and said 'swatch'. Apparently in couple of years India had 99.9 access to sanitation. This simply is not possible given the size and population of India. But 'swatch' has now been declarerd and India is clean. Their economy is apparently rip roaring but then they have 10,000s of their people tied to rickshaws and pulling them like animals. Think about this. Their economy is doing well but humam labour is cheaper then donkeys. When I have pointed this out Dalits claim that even capitals of Europe use rickshaws but it is differant there. In Paris for instance it's tourist special and rates are more then auto-taxis. In India it's more beasts of burden. I have seen vlogs and you see the poverty, filth and madness that you probably only find in some slum in Karachi - even there its mostly Indian migrants spitting that red crap.
