Purchased this hair twice now and love it.
Thank you 🎃 That's awesome to hear
Man. This is awesome. Gonna send my 78 one over to ya for a rehair. I don’t have the patience to do it myself and the way you did this is outstanding!
Sorry for the delay responding. I really try to answer back quickly if possible. I'm setting up my store right this minute at Masqworks.com for customers to be able to purchase the rehairing service through. Let me do a test run here in a short bit from my platform to make sure the invoicing works as it should and then I'll let you know what to do from here.
OK, I've got it set up to purchase a hair rehaul at WWW.MASQWORKS.COM. You can find it in our catalog under the Makeup & Special FX category. All you'll need to do is make sure your shipping info is correct for us to ship the rehaul back to you.
This is the best hairing tutorial on the net. I’m waiting to hair my H40. Got some Shetland Moorit in the mail. I love the way yours turned out and I will be using these methods as a guide. I cannot wait to get started. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. I'm really trying to make this channel a place of learning and teaching. I'm growing into all of it just as others are and I want people to be able to find some of this information a little easier. I'm glad that my videos have been helpful. 🎃
Man, this saved my Halloween. I got two of them right away. I LOVE IT!!!!!
Awesome 😁 Glad to hear that
Incredible outcome man. Definitely gonna start rehairing my masks like this, that texture looks straight out of the movie
AWESOME 😁 I've got this hair available for sale too at WWW.MASQWORKS.COM
And thank you for the encouragement. I appreciate it!
Turned out really good! Hair is the hard part for me. Appreciate the 3 detailed videos.
Thanks for watching! Glad to help 🎃
@@masqueraideworkshop I just got some crepe braids today and I bought a $15 steamer as per your recommendation in other videos and wow, I can't imagine straightening it any other way! So easy, I avoided crepe because of the braids at first
That's excellent! I think hair can be more fun when you can make some of the steps easier. I still get anxious when I do hair lol but every little shortcut helps 😉
That's sick hair job man. Love it!!!
Hey, thanks! I appreciate it.
Amazing work man! Thank you for sharing your talents with us, so glad I found you guys❤
Thank you! Glad you enjoy it. I appreciate the kind words.
Thank you soooo much Sir, you helped me a LOT by showing this tutorial. I was doing a rehair to my mask for the first time and thanks to you it was a nice and clean process. It turned out perfect. Big hug to you :) And also those hair are very good in my opinion for myers masks. Very easy to style and price is also good.
That's great to hear. That's why I do these videos. You're very welcome. Stay tuned for more hair and paint videos coming in the very near future!
@@masqueraideworkshop I definitely will. Thank you very much. Just can`t express how happy I am and how great this turned out thanks to your video :)
I definitely appreciate you coming back and letting me know. I learn how to do better from my mistakes and I also learn how to keep doing well from people such as yourself who take the time to tell me which things are helpful 😉
Man that looks so good! I ordered mine last night , I cant wait to get it ! Thank you !
That's great and thank you! We'll have that packaged up for you asap. I think you'll really like it 😁

I'm booked up getting some delayed orders done right now so I'm not able to promise that any new orders can be completed before Halloween.
i have always dreaded the hairline part but after this vid its been 100 times easier . thanks for the info
That's awesome to hear! I'm glad these videos have been helpful to people. I'll have a more advanced hairline tutorial soon as well using a technique I haven't even attempted myself yet. Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to catch that one! I think people will find that one helpful as well!
@@masqueraideworkshop cool cant wait also have you ever done a kills hair from scratch ? im doing one now and brainstormin on how im gonna do the burned look for the hair
@@obiwanjon4595 so far, for the last 4 years, I've only worked on the 2018 Myers. I do have plans to jump off into the Kills and Ends mask as well at some point.
Thank you for sharing your talents. These are awesome videos!

Excellent work.
Thank you 🎃👍
Looks just like the 2018 movie! Man thanks for the tips I've rehauled 3 kills masks but I'm planning the 2018
You're welcome! I'm glad to be able to help out. Thanks for the compliment 😁
excellent work bro. thank you
Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words
I checked the site out, how often do you guys have the rehauled H40’s for sale? Looks great!
Hey, thanks for checking out the store! I don't do them all the time as I don't always have stock masks on hand but I can do them pretty quickly if someone wants to send a mask that they already have that they want rehauled.
i unraveled yarn and heavily matted it. will it work the same?
Check out our other video on blending. You can do the same process with a single color to process the hair and line up the hair fibers again. This will get get all the hair running parallel and in the same direction again. Give that a try but just know it's going to take some work. The Merino is pretty forgiving.

Can you please do a kills hair tutorial?
I honestly haven't even done a rehaul on a Kills yet but when I do I will certainly do a video on that as well.
@@masqueraideworkshop I certainly hope you do because the amount of detail on the kills mask is insane I just can’t do the hair part 😂
@@brycebrown6757 I will try my best to do one sooner than later. I'm kind of anxious to get my hands on one too 🎃
hey im thinking about placing an order! just being sure, is this all 1 oz or more?
Excellent! Yes, it was 1 ounce used in the video.
To what length did you cut the hair in the back ?
In the Part 1 video I cut it to 5" in length in this set of tutorials.
@@masqueraideworkshop oh alright thanks
@darkprince3997 you're very welcome! Thanks for checking us out 😁
I have a stock TOTS H40 mask…. This looks awesome! Are you currently doing overhauls?
I sure am. Are you needing paint and rehair both or just rehair?
@@masqueraideworkshop both… what’s your current turn around time? It’d be cool to have it done, before Halloween comes around again.
I’ll have some extra money, around the beginning of the year. Does that give you enough time? I could definitely pay you sometime in January.
@@Jdizzle6969 I can have one done pretty fast. Once I receive it I'll have it done within 2 weeks. It won't actually take that long at all but just in case I have any other projects going on at the same time, I like to give myself a cushion. If I don't need the extra time then you'll get it back faster.

Can you do a how to repaint a
Micheal Myers mask
I sure will. That's one that I'll be doing very soon. Just have a few others I need to get done first. Make sure to SUBSCRIBE so you can get the notification 🎃
@@masqueraideworkshop ok thank you so much
You're welcome! I'm glad to help
Will you also be doing this for Kills and Ends masks
I would say that anything is possible. I actually haven't even attempted any kind of work on either one just yet. I think as I make at least one attempt first for either of them and I know more about what to expect that I'll probably do a video or two of my own process. It's easier to make a good tutorial when I have even a small clue first to add some value to it. 🎃
@@masqueraideworkshop looking forward to it!
@@masqueraideworkshop I have another question, how did you get rid of most of the hair on the mask? I just got done trying to get rid of all the hair on my Halloween Kills mask and the first layer of hair is like super glued to the scalp and I have tried everything with getting it off, razor, shaver, and pulling on it with my bare hands and it still won't come off
Can you send me a picture of what it looks like? What you've got left to pull off? Want to see before I make a recommendation. You can email me at sales@masqworks.com and I'll message you back here so anyone else that can learn anything will see the information here too.
@@masqueraideworkshop Alright, I have sent an email
Awesome work man! Is that the rust color or the brown? Let me know cause id love to purchase some asap
That is the brown! You're gonna love it! I've got a several ounces on hand right now and I can get what you need for a mask shipped out to you super fast.
@@masqueraideworkshop Really? That's the brown? Looks like there rust but hard to tell ion the video I guess lol! How much did you have there in the video? Just need to know how much id need for at least 2 masks thanks for the response
@@mattleiderman1996 yeah the brown does have a little bit of a reddish tint on camera at times. Depends on the lighting and the camera honestly. It's the perfect shade of brown for these. Yeah, one ounce per mask is all I've used and it comes out perfect. Follow my tutorial again if you need. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have too while you're applying it.
How to make Chucky hair perfect video when?
Can I use the clear tacky glue? Or do you not recommend that? That’s the one I got because I was worried I’d make a mess.
I would think that would be fine. I haven't used the clear but I would imagine that they're alike. Might check the label first to be sure in case it says something to the contrary that we might not be aware of at the moment. If you don't mind, shoot me a message back here wheh you've found out so that we can answer for others too that might have the same question in the future 😁 Thanks
How can I get hair like him
We sell this fiber. I used brown Merino in the video.
You can find that here:
masqworks.com/collections/fiber/products/100-merino-wool-roving-solid-colors?variant=39575161503808
Or you could try the Undyed Sheep's Brown Corriedale fiber (I definitely recommend it for Myers):
masqworks.com/collections/fiber/products/copy-of-merino
Cool my Michael 78 one looks weird hair
So it's time for some new hair then? 😉
How much to rehair a mask I send you?
Is this a stock mask that you've pulled the stock hair off of or are you wanting new hair added after having me remove the old hair? I'll hair a mask that's had the stock hair already removed for a flat $75 (return shipping included) or I can remove the stock hair and apply new for a flat $95 (return shipping included). *price in comment edited from $85 to $95
@@masqueraideworkshop thank you for the swift response with your pricing options. Sorry I didn't include any specifics on my mask question. Great to know that's a service you provide. I will definitely be considering it because I got a rehauled mask, but the hair is all glued down. Yikes, the hair needs to be workable like a real mask would be- the way you're making them.
@@rxz4140 I can definitely help you out when you're ready. If you want to you can look us up on Facebook or Instagram to communicate a little easier and to follow what we're up to. I'd be glad to help out if can 😉👍
Never knew Myers was a ginger
Haha yeah, under my studio lighting it's definitely got a more orangey tone. It's straight brown though. I recommend misting it lightly with a dark brown or even black colored hairspray on the surface to give it a little more contrast if desired. Applying hair product that soaks in will darken it some too. But, like I said, it just depends on the lighting and also what is pleasing to the eye.
🧡🧡🧡
mmm idk bro, so much hair wasted. i mean, amazing job, but i dont want to loose all that hair.
Unfortunately, there's no way around it when you apply the hair this way. You're not actually pulling hair strands from the mask itself. The hair fibers are interwoven and aren't all the same length so they naturally will pull apart no matter what. You could learn to use a hackle and process the hair further if you were so inclined but it would add more labor hours. This process is meant to be a quick and easy way to hair a mask with excellent quality hair fiber. If you were concerned about the density of the hair after combing out then you could simply add more hair to the width of each row rather than stretching it out as much.
@@masqueraideworkshop Thanks bro, i will try it when my mask is arrived 🎃❤️
You're welcome Pablo. I'm happy to help any time 🎃
I know this was two years ago, but that was bad brushing technique
I admit that I don't have the best techniques when it comes to the hair styling. Most of what I learn is from trial and error by experimenting or instruction from others. Any input to improve is always appreciated. It took me a long time to get my painting technique down and I'd love to find better ways to style the hair too.
Or buy a wig and put it over the mask
I would say, if someone likes the look of a wig, that would definitely be the best way for them to hair their mask. ✌️😉
You can’t just put a wig on it because it has to fit the shape of the mask and the hairline
the results were nice, but you wasted alot of hair doing it this way. You should work slower in the gluing process and style your hair as you go, Get more bang for your buck.
The reality of this kind of hair is that the hair fibers aren't all end to end. They are interwoven and the ends of all of the strands that come loose aren't actually glued to the head in the first place no matter how fast or slow you go. They pull away because they are feathered into the row at unequal lengths. Now, you can prep the hair ahead of time using a brush or a hackle but this video is meant to be the quick way to get hair on to a mask. Sometimes not having to do as much prep work is worth that waste at only $5.50/ounce. It's still cheaper than using crepe hair and it's even a better product still. I'll have some follow up videos on more detailed hair preparation coming in the future so watch out for those. These tutorials are designed with fast results in mind for beginners with less prep work at minimal cost. I appreciate you watching and for your input as well. Stay tuned for more! 🎃
