Same, though my brother loved Our lady peace and I was an Offspring fan looking back now I was in great shape. Now I'm a disabled vet and starting life all over again, the song fits the mood for sure and it's totally a gut shot with much more relivence at 32 then when I was 15 lol

Worked security at a Guns and Roses concert in Regina, SK. and these guys opened up for them - I remember hearing all their songs and almost tearing up, This band helped me through alot of hard times.

When this was on the radio, I was only about 11 years old... I didn't understand the lyrics... I mean. You kinda sing a long. But it's all in one ear and out the other with the actual message... Now coming back to it years later, it's hitting me like a lead weight, a nuclear bomb.. A round of tank ammunition. I couldn't relate to the lyrics more in my life than now.. Lately, this past year has been one of the worst in my entire life.. Not trying to be mellow dramatic, but yeah, it has been... I got no one.. Except for my immediate family..my mom and my brother, And that's it. I'm very beyond thankful for them. When you cut the fat off the top, and really dive in, you realise who your real friends were and who was never there for you.. I ask myself If I was the bad friend.. I guess my problem was I was always too damn kind to those that didn't deserve it.. That's the reality of life. He has a ‘voice’ in which he shoves his throat voice upwards into nasal voice/tone. Very unattractive vocally, not a skilled singer at all.
