Our Lady Peace gives me a state of mind where I can feel myself seriously escaping. I was born in 1995 and I swear It was just the wrong year for me. 16 years old and I feel trapped in a decade at the wrong age. My music all belongs to a time before me. But this the music I grew up to, and my love for it hasn't changed. I need this band. I need this escape. I'm trapped around people I don't even relate to. This band? It's my release. Our Lady Peace. Always.

@Elizabeth Harmon I think I overstated that first part. It’s all relative. I think some relationships when younger would definitely qualify and the more mature kids would also be able to comprehend. Also forgot to add that any “kid” finding and listening to stuff like this for sure has very high EQ compared to other kids that aren’t. This is heavy stuff. Not the type of stuff kids listen to anymore

I'm always in repair. I will always be working on myself. Every time I judge someone, every time I negative self talk, every time I think I'm better than someone, any time I think I can drink again.... I'll always be in repair. Im glad im aware. This song blew me away as a kid and it blows me away at 37 even heavier. I'm glad I'm aware how fucking awesome Our Lady Peace was.

I'll tell you something all right, there's a lot of bands that came out around this era and Our Lady Peace is one of those bands that you really need to follow. They had an amazing album progression with what I feel to be their Apex coming on their what fourth album?? Reminds me of REM in a lot of ways because not too many bands get to have an album progression like Our Lady Peace did. High-quality albums that have stood the test of time.

I dont know why but everytime i listen to this song (which has been nonstop for the past 2 hours) i notice more about the music and about the video and i like it even more every time. A lot of the symbolism becomes quite apparent while even more of it escapes my grasp. One of the best thought out and best sounds by Our Lady Peace in my opinion. And deffinatily the best music video i have ever seen. A true masterpeice, i wish the new Our Lady Peace music had this much soul

The man speaking in the beginning about our future and realizing the future he spoke of is here as the music starts. Makes me jizz my pants every time. Epic tune ahead of its time
