Great video! Very helpful indeed! I've got a 2011 X3 28i - so very similar - but I note a few extra tips: - I didn't take any screws out of the wing piece at the top, but it is useful to remove the two lower rear screws to give a bit of space inside the wing - watch out for those pesky strainers for the two bottom pumps (front and rear screen washers) - that was our only problem. The pumps are way low in any crud that accumulates over the years - and give the tank a good flush! - The strainers are fine nylon mesh units and integral to the two black rubber grommet seals that the pumps' noses slide into. So, pull those out as well, and wash in warm soapy water; agitating with an artist's brush. - Last snag for getting the tank back in, especially if you've not attacked things from above, like Andy did - make sure you feed the side indicator feed cable around the correct side of the tank, before replacing all your pipe and cabling connections. - don't forget the water level sensor! Cheers from NZ! Rich
Andy, to change the washer level gauge only (not the pump) Do I need to loosen the side panel or just removing the protective black panel is enough? On your video, it looks like I can access it without loosening the panel. Thanks
I seriously cannot believe a manufacturer such as BMW would make changing a simple part so difficult. Most drivers would need to pay more than what the bottle is worth to replace it by a garage. How disappointing BMW!!!

Thank you!! I have a leak in the tank somewhere. This helps immensely.
Thankyou so much for this great video. The video quality and your approach made my job so much easier. Thanks again!
E' un lavoro enorme per cambiare un semplice motorino per i vetri 😮
Thank you, Andy! You certainly made things look easy! thank you again.
Great Job Andy!
Wow he so fast! Lol I too did cringe on the wheel slide though.

NAHHH WHY YOU SLIDE THE WHEEL ON ITS FACE LIKE THAT -10 POINTS!!!
I love BMW's. But seriously? To have such a minor part so buried that you have to almost remove a fender to access it?
600.00 for tank replacement 🤪
