That was the last time I went. Absolutely the best one i ever went to! I couldn't believe Loki was there in front of me my jaw was dropped. Funny thing too i was waiting for my friend to pick me up after the day was over i waited by the Hilton cause it was the easiest spot to pickup someone. I was talking with a mother and her daughter just sharing the experiences of the day that just passed. all of a sudden i kept hearing a raucous crowd from the back of the Hilton where the cars exit. One car was exiting and the window was down in the back i looked and i was like OMG thats Loki. Yep sure enough it was Tom he heard me. He shouted back in the Loki voice indeed it is i and then the car was gone . i couldnt get a pic or anything obviously but just for him to acknowledge me on the way out made my day that much more awesome
Haha. So true. Its like they have a need to "M. Freeman" explain everything to us in case theres a moron on the audience. The worst case was when they were doing Monty Python and started to explain jokes.... :))
My thoughts exactly. The picked #1 was a lot of legwork if every one of those appearances was unscheduled, but Loki's appearance commandeering the audio/visual equipment and making the panel cast disappear was far more unique and surprising.
How on earth did you manage to make such great moments so unexciting. Just a little tipp for the next video. Let the scenes sink in, let us hear the audiance be surprised and don't just talk over it. That was so anticlimactic.
I waited out the whole vid for Loki. He honestly CANNOT be topped. The crowd was going WILD! Loki definitely should've gotten #1. Also love that part where some guy says "My wife loves you" and Tom momentarily breaks character
The epicness of Loki was even greater because Hiddleston wasn't supposed to be there. He came in secret and hid out in his hotel room the whole day so nobody saw him xD Not even the Marvel panelists were in on it.
I disappointed that I missed that I was only young an not a marvel Fan....... It is depressing..... I'd love to see that Loki thing *Loki obsession intensifies*
Tom Hiddleston hijacking Hall H will forever be one of the best Comic Con moment, but it is hard to beat seeing the Avengers on stage together for the very first time. I remember shedding a few tears of happiness seeing that.
The Avengers line-up was terrific but this is supposed to be about the top surprises. The biggest surprise is still when Hiddleston appeared in full Loki mode.
Personally I feel that the Loki apperance should have been number one. Even in this shoped up version, you feel the power of it. They had pulled every trick out of the box and the actor carried it with greatness. The fact that he managed to basically silence that entire hall. How cool and great the others in this clip are, you can hear the audience go wild with Loki. It will be very difficult to top that one, if not impossible. Oh.. and Mojo, pray to your puny gods that He won't find out, you have put him on second place. ;)
He's too pretty for a Peter Parker, Toby Maguire was the spiderman for me. Too bad Andrew has too big of an ego to stub his boss's boss's boss in the foot to kill his career. He's a fool.
Garfield has won a BAFTA, Golden Globe and a Tony. He's been nominated 2 times for an Academy Award. He's considered by many to be one of the best things about NWH and he most likely had more passion and excitement than both Holland and McGuire for the role of Spider-Man. He was gutted when he lost the role. He didn't need NWH. NWH needed him. Kill his career? He's done more good work than Tobey and Holland combined
I’m still giggling that the same woman who is talking over these clips has interviewed Tom Holland for ffh and he freaked out when he heard her do the voice
Infinity War was nothing but a depressing shock-fest with little substance, cheap character deaths, and a way over-hyped villain with one of the MCU's lamest motives (and that's saying something, seeing as nearly all of their villains have been pretty lackluster, with the exception of Loki and a few others).
Tom could have had anyone he wanted in that room at that moment. Truly the greatest moment in the MCU fandom and solidified Loki as one of the greatest MCU characters ever. Tom absolutely nailed the role and I'm really gonna miss him (after what happened in Infinity War). Can't believe it was 5 years ago :(
The Clone Wars revival trailer drop moment absolutely needs to be on this list!! Fanbase probably isn't as big, but those people went absolutely nuts when Prince Dave dropped the trailer yesterday.
The best moments are BvS announcement, Avengers, SW concert and Loki in SDCC... I remember of the Fox announcement (Xmen Apocalypse, Fan4stic, Deadpool and Gambit) only Deadpool succede
What about Kansas performing Carry on my Wayward Son at last year's Supernatural panel? I don't know about anyone else, but a well known rock band playing at Comic Con should at least have an honorable mention on this list...... Just say'n
That was prob the most hyped I was at all the comic cons I been to!!!!! This years is also great!!! So ready for tomorrows walking dead panel and to see the long awaited season 9 trailer
I was at the Star Wars panel in Hall H when that concert happened. It was an epic ending to a day that started out shitty. So much fun. Still one of the best times at SDCC. They forgot to add Tom Cruise showing up last year (2019) with the Maverick trailer. That was shocking but cool.
Couldn’t agree more. I got screwed over and denied ADA access for the show the night before and so I was able to sneak in and then get my group in as well. To say the concert was epic would be the understatement of the century. That moment should’ve been #1 really.
It is funny how people were apprehensive about RDJ taking up the role of Tony Stark when we now believe that no one else could be in the role except him. He is the perfect Tony Stark. Also while Dark World was a bit of a disappointment, the marketing was great especially when it came to Loki who had quickly cemented himself as one of the best parts of the MCU because of Tom Hiddleston’s performance. Him stealing the show as Loki at SDCC is probably one of the best things ever.
The real #1 Comic-Con Surprise happened just one day after this video was released. When Clone Wars got saved. Everytime i see that teaser im crying like a baby
Looking back on the best moments no one saw coming at Comic-Con International is incredibly ecstatic to us all! From what I’ve seen there throughout the 2010s, best highlights that will never get old in this multi genre event when you cross comic books with video games, TV, and film!
How is Kansas playing 'Carry On My Wayward Song' at the SPN panel not on this list? This list should honestly be "Top 10 Superhero Comic Con surprises of all time"
Tom Hiddleston is famous for his kind natured fun that he does... But it must be incredible to hold this power. To have thousands of people revere you, and still stay a humble actor who just "does his job". I think that is the hard part. Being famous like that and staying grounded. Those are the actors we come to see... Those are the people I want to know not more about than I have to, for they must remain perfect. XD
Adam Savage walked right by me not too long ago at a Comicon wearing a complete Captain America suit. He looked at me, I looked at him, we nodded and continued our day through. The next day he revealed himself to the event. Darn you Adam Savage, darn you. ;)
I'm sorry but where is the moment when the band, Kansas surprised the cast and the fans of Supernatural with their live version of "Carry On (My Wayward Son)?
Yeah, it's just a couple of hours away from me but it's clearly so freaking packed that I just don't have the nerve to face it. Even Wondercon is packed with people, so if San Diego Comic Con is worse, I'll happily just soak up the videos that come out after.

I'm sorry, but the Tron Legacy teaser (then called just "TR2N") from ComicCon 2008 should be at the top of the list. There weren't even any serious rumors about the movie being in production yet. It was at the end of a panel for "Race to Witch Mountain" for crying out loud. The trailer started, and the crowd didn't even know what it was until a few seconds in! Imagine if The Force Awakens hadn't been announced the way it had, but instead by sneaking a fully finished teaser trailer at the end of a panel for "Muppets Most Wanted"?
This is fucking true. The comments went on just when we wanted to hear the audience reaction. It's like having football commentators commenting a sex scene in a porn movie.

Imagine if The Force Awakens hadn't been announced the way it had, but instead by sneaking a fully finished teaser trailer at the end of a panel for "Muppets Most Wanted"?
"Say My Name!"
"LOKIII"
Heisenberg: 😡
This video would’ve been nice if it shown the event and crowd reaction rather just a few clips with a narrator describing it
i wish your format was less garbage. show the clip and then explain it, and don't drag on. for the love of god
This is fucking true. The comments went on just when we wanted to hear the audience reaction.
It's like having football commentators commenting a sex scene in a porn movie.
Very true! I skip them for this reason 99% of the time.
They need to make it to 10 mins for monetary things
I'm just glad RUclips is changing the full monetization time to 8 minutes. Id rather hear the reaction than the 2 minute narration on how cool it was.
