It’s insane how much Tom has influenced Loki’s growth in the comics and MCU media. I mean, was Loki ever anything but a cartoony bad guy prior to 2012?
I find it quite amazing that someone who is supposed to be hated, is so loved. Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki is the only explanation. He is quite frankly one of the best actors I have witnessed (personal preference). With Tom's portrayal, you can understand how it must have felt for the character; when he was lied to all these years about his true identity. It's like he projects the emotions onto the viewer. That's why I personally think Tom is just an amazing actor. He fits the role perfectly, and I don't think anyone else would have done it better.
How cool would it have been if they have used this as a scene in the show? "Oh in this timeline you're just a movie character but since it still allows the sacred timeline to stay intact, we keep it."

I find it quite amazing that someone who is supposed to be hated, is so loved.
Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki is the only explanation. He is quite frankly one of the best actors I have witnessed (personal preference). With Tom's portrayal, you can understand how it must have felt for the character; when he was lied to all these years about his true identity. It's like he projects the emotions onto the viewer. That's why I personally think Tom is just an amazing actor. He fits the role perfectly, and I don't think anyone else would have done it better.
