Hey Sweetie, I am a 54 year old woman who has seen Neil in concert countless times..also when he was with crosby, stills and nash...Those were the freakin days..He is still young to me...Even if he is old...He will always be young..Take care now!!!...
Many years ago I was at work in a supervisor's office with 3 or 4 other folks (for reasons I don't recall), and we were there standing together when this song came over a tiny clock radio on a desk that was right there before us. I could tell that we were all moved by how sweet and beautiful it was, though no one said anything.
I'm also 54. In 1974, I saw the "Reunion" tour of CSN&Y. in Chicago. Magical. I also saw the "reunion" tour of CSN when David Crosby got out of jail - forget the year. Those were the days.... If you get the chance to see any incarnation of this band - don't even think of passing it up. After all, we're not *that* old..... *g*
I'm glad to see Neil Young and David Crosby sing together again. No doubt their age may have brought some wisdom to a reconciliation or amends. C,S,N &Y gave us great songs to live and love by.
i'm lucky, i've seen Neil 3 times here in Italy, last it was in spring of 2009 in Milan, a solo concert. Great evening, Neil he's one of the most impressive live performance in the history of rock.
I couldn't agree more! Not only for the lyrical poetry but the beauty of CSNY's sound and legendary harmonies make it a true work of art for all generations past, present and future.
2006 Hollywood Bowl, took the stage and said "hope you aren't in a hurry because we brought a shit load of music to play". This song was off the intermission and was absolutely magical.
@bookkeeper57 I once saw a documentary on C,S.N &Y. At times Neil Young was always trying to get them to do recordings or gigs and Crosby was to always to stoned or not interested. It was probably more frustration on Neil Young's part to go solo...could you imagine the back up vocals of Crosby and Nash on the Harvest album?
@Dalmenco ---only on the flesh...(.it' will be your turn before you realize.) Has'nt taken a toll on their passion for what they do, looks shouldnt even matter.
@Dalmenco ---btw ...use a nice voice when you read my former message , I wasnt being bitchy, I was being philosophical , trust me when I tell you , one day you look around and it's another decade!
Thank you Neil for sharing the love of my youth and the songs of my young soul.....

I only hope this era will reignite.. it says so much! Classic folk and rock really is very goooood! Moves and soothes the soul...
This song was the one my mama danced to on the last day of her life. What a memory this one holds.

Couldn't agree more. My mom used to listen to this song. Now I can't get enough of it.
they still have it even after all these years and to sing live and sound so good is great.
