Great explanation, I'm a minimalist so I only have about 6 or so basically exercises that I regularly do... I occasionally may slightly changed variations but for the most part I stick to the basics and just get stronger at them. Tried and tested 👍🏻
Definitely not bored of watching Ask Al!!!
Great explaination Al, I've been pretty much doing the same 5 or 6 exercises for about 14 years now and the same stretching routine since...oh, I don't rightly know, 25 or 30 years now and I personally feel that the magic (conditioning, flexibility and a reduced injury risk in my case) is in the regularity of the excerises and frequency of the routine (a bit everyday beats a lot some days is my philosophy). As I'm now an over 40, I shall give your book a look. Thanks.
Great point of view 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You’re the best, Al Kavadlo. Keep up the good work. Appreciate you.
Wise words as always
Awesome!
gracias Al..! como siempre una excelente explicación.
After completing a couple of Al's books I realized the programs themselves are great progression templates. So after I finished the last 1 I went back to week 1, swapped out the exercise for the next level up and keeping the reps and sets as st\ated. Did this for all the workouts in the program and had a fresh new workout for the next 3 months. So Push Ups changed to Feet raised Push Up's and so on. Also starting from the beginning again, gives you a few weeks of reduced load to re-energize before the workouts get harder.
Hey hey hey Al….in your book “A Zen Approach to Everyday Fitness”, you mention meaningful workouts versus distractionary workouts. Please help with this concept. Thank you, Burps.
Hey hey hey Al, awesome videos. How do you mantain healthy joint/tendons/etc. to continue performing exercises after 30/40? I tried to minimize wrist pain but every now and then suffer and have to stop training for days. Saludos y gracias.
Hay hay All , John Loobey the Geriatric Ninja. Love your channel and you have been a great help and motivation. My question is about muscle sorness, how you relieve it, can it be prevented, and any insight you may have on the causes 🤔 . I have experienced long bouts of soreness after a good workout. But also times with little or no soreness from a similar training session? Hopping to understand it better, please and thank you!
I like the humour
Hey Al , i saw you performing one arm pushups and i've got to ask.In your push training do you include both one arm and two arm pushups? If yes, how can somebody combine them succesfully? (The same goes with every one limb variation i suppose)
When don you think you should start doing progressions tho? Or when do you start adding weight to normal exercises?
Hey hey hey Al! What about women? Anything for us? Lol I recently stopped lifting weights after years of doing so and a spinal fusion, and I’ve slowly been doing body squats and push-ups only. I’m ready for more this year as I get clearance from my specialist. Suggestions?
Hey hey hey, Ees Method! Check out my wife Grace Kavadlo's calisthenics program for women: strongandfit.com/products/diesel-grace-by-grace-kavadlo
I'll try to give your question a longer answer in a video at some point in the future. :)
@@alkavadlo Thank you!
Al is my guru! On my fourth year of training calisthenics only. I still do the basics: ATG squats, pull-ups, dips. It's taken me this long to really do proper form and I plan on sticking to it as I've improved so much- at 64 years old. I do change up and do the basics, weighted, from time to time. Thanks for the always solid advice, Al! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
